Bought this mostly for our 30a RV. Even here at the house we lost power a few weeks ago and could only sit in it (trailer) and run the 12v stuff, mainly lights. We can now run the entire trailer off this one including AC, microwave and over the air tv. I had read it runs a little quieter on propane and after trying both it and gasoline I believe that to be a true statement. With that said I absolutely love having the chance to run either fuel source, always have 13 or 14 gallons of ethanol free gas and 60lbs of propane on hand. Bring on the winter, we are way better prepared than we were before this generator.

I purchased this to use after Hurricane Ian this month. Was very happy that it ran on propane and gas. I wasn't sure what fuel I would be able to get. It also was able to run overnight on one filling of gas. We could watch tv, power our CPAP machines and the refrigerator and lights without waking up in the night because my CPAP machine stopped working.

I’ve always wanted a generator I guess you can say I try to prepare for the worst. And why not have a back up power supply. So when I saw this I had to get it!!! I’m excited for my new generator and I’m about to make sure everything is good and try it out. I feel like an adult now. I love that it is dual for gasoline and propane.

I bought this after the first of two hurricanes this season. Had borrowed a friends small boat generator and was swapping freezer to refrigerator every 2-3 hours between fueling to keep from loosing perishable items again. Bought this and when needed, setup was simple, efficient on fuel and ran everything I needed without the headaches of swapping cables. Worth the price.

I purchased this back in January and just finally got around to getting it out and running but started on 2nd pull and works exactly as described. Our primary use will be to use a plasma cutter. It is extremely easy to move around and having the option of fueling with propane will be great also.

I bought this in case of power outages, emergencies, etc., I'm so glad we have peace of mind. We started it up, which was simple enough, and it wasn't terribly loud, which is great. I love that it can use both gas and propane. I'll have to test it out when the power goes out to update my review about appliances, hours, etc. Otherwise, it seems great.

Just unboxed our new 5300DFv and am pleased so far. It was packaged well and included tools for mounting the rubber feet as well as a funnel for easy filling of the oil, very nice. Only reason for 4stars for me is I think it should include some sort of grounding wire. A grounding rod would be nice but that is asking a bit much. A grounding wire is a realistic and necessary request or expectation. Maybe I will come back and update after I run it a bit.

This is a great buy. I have used many generators over the years on Job sites, but I am really happy with this one. It is powerful enough to more than supply all my saws and tools, yet it rolls with only one person handling it. I really like the propane option. It has less fumes, it is less expensive to run, and I don't have to worry about draining gas out if I don't use it for a few months.

I have been shopping for a dual fuel generator at a reasonable price and found the perfect product at a price which was very competitive. Told my brother about my purchase and I believe he intends to buy one. Assembly was simple and the unit started up on the second pull using propane gas. I feel very confident this generator will meet my electrical needs if ever the power is down. Having dual fuels leaves me with the availability of getting some fuel in a crisis.

We bought this generator in case we needed it for one of TX many storms, and sure enough we used it this past week with storm Beryl. The dual fuel came in handy when in the early hours there was no gas to be found, so we used the propane tank (which didnt last as long as regular gas does) and then we found gas at a gas station and refueled it, so both fuel types work, just the propane tank only lasted about 4 hrs. Setup was pretty easy and straight forward. The wheels come in handy for easy transportation. Overall I recommend this generator.
