After my last generator, bigger in physical size, but with less operating wattage, was stolen, I was fortunate to come across the Westinghouse. Easy to assemble, started on 2nd pull, and a better warranty than my previous generator.

Purchased this generator when our city had an ice storm and the power was out for days. It did a good job. I didn't get to use all of the features, but the ones I did use worked well. It is loud, but I'm not sure it's louder than others.

I purchased this the other day January 30,2023 due to the potential of power outage due to days of ice storms. I have started the generator and had no issues with the start.

Purchased a generator for emergency and month late got hit with the Winter Storm 2021. It was able to run the small heaters and anything we need during our Power Outage.

I bought this generator in prep for hurricane season. the main reason is the dual ability to go between gas and propane. It was easier to understand. After watching several videos on this model, I feel that that this is the best for us.

I'm not really sure about this generator yet. The propane feature is definitely a lot easier though. But every time we hooked up the cord that normally will run half of our house, the generator would die.

So far, so good. The wheels add 5" width to the overall measurement but if size is not a problem, this seems to do the trick. A bit loud but good output for overall size.

just bought Westinghouse Wgen5300 during the recovery of hurricane Helene, was amazed we could even find one available, dual fuel, propane or electric ....it is AMAZING , you can't go wrong with this unit
