Very easy to assemble. Started after a few pulls with full choke position. Ran smooth as it warmed up. I believe I made a wise investment with this Westinghouse Generator.

Bought a WGen5300DFv after some bad storms in our area. We ended up being without power for almost 4 days. The generator was wonderful and never had any issues.

I needed to purchase a generator, so decided on the WGEN5300, easy to pull start, and troubleshoot, you don't have to be mechanically inclined to operate it. I'm a mechanical design engineer, this model is a great design.

So far I am very satisfied with this product. Easy to put together. It is much quieter than I thought it would be. Started up right away. Like the fact I can use gas or propane. Instruction icons on top of it are very helpful.

Purchased in December 2022 Filled with oil, started on the 2nd pull. Passed a simple load test after 15mins of warm-up. Good value and seems to be well constructed.

I bought this for a back up power source. I unboxed it, put oil and gas in it and it started right up. I was really surprised at how little resistance was to the pull start. Barely pulled and it fired right up.

Bought this last week for Hurricane season. Super easy to set up and use. Will keep both of my refrigerators' running should the power go out and much more.

Got this due to a Hurricane - haven’t used much yet but so far it’s easy to set up and operate and instructions were clear. More ports/outlets would be nice.

Purchased the 5300DFcv, completed the initial setup process. Completed a 360 inspection, followed by Oiling the unit, wheel installation, fueling and finally starting the unit. Started on the second pull, no hesitation.

We bought this a few days ago. We have already tried it out.Works great.We live in the country so if the power goes out. It will be a while before it is restored.
