I bought this a couple of months ago and although we have not actually had reason to use (Thank God), we have started it several time and let it run on propane

The dual fuel feature is exactly what I was looking for. Not too loud. Great piece of mind having this in case of an emergency. Easy to set up and use.

Unit looks great and seems to be of good quality. Glad it came with wheels and handles. Connected it to a propane tank and it started on the third pull. Pretty quiet while running.

Purchase based on reviews and personal requirements. The price point was acceptable and Westinghouse products have been reliable. I've only started a few times and preparing for hurricane season.

Just purchased this 5300DFv to replace my older generator. This new Westinghouse unit has all the features I needed, especially the 240V option. Excited about Dual Fuel too. I did a lot of research, and this unit came out on top for the price.

It took 10 minutes and I had my large house running on this through a transfer switch. Only negative was the recoil cord won't recoil, I had to hand wind it but I assume they will be sending a replacement part ASAP.

I bought this after a storm hit and should have bought one years ago. I was very hesitant to purchase a generator thinking it would be hard to setup and run. This particular one is very easy to setup and start up. Highly recommend this generator.

I saved $200 compared to the nearest competitor AND have propane as an option. Along with Westinghouse's warranty, this was a No Brainer! I love that the wheels were included and the funnel that screws into the motor works great.

I bought this product yesterday and can’t wait to be able to use it for my outdoor activities and so much more it seems to be great for a lot of reasons it also has fuel switch to change from gas to propane that is neat.
