Had it shipped from Sam’s Club. Great price. Runs great and powers most things we have in a small mountain cabin when the power goes off. Have to pick and choose what you want powered but that’s what I wanted. Installing a power panel transfer switch is the way to go to take advantage of the 5300’s L14-30amp plug.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase of this Westinghouse generator! I love the duel fuel option, gas or propane, that gives me the ability to run the generator on different fuel sources depending on the situation. Looked around at other brands but came back to Westinghouse for their price point and known reliability.

I bought the generator a day ago and looking at all the reviews on this particular generator I really like what I’ve seen. I don’t have too much time with this generator but it’s gonna run my trailer RV very well. It’s got all the power I need for my RV, love it

I have only ran the generator for about 2 hours to get started on the initial break in of the unit however I must say that set up and assembly of the wheels and stand was simple and straightforward. The unit cranked very easily and all the instructions were very clear. I hope that I don't have to use it however I am confident that if it is needed that it while provide more than sufficient power to run our 30' travel trailer with ease.

Bought this generator to have for household backup. I knew I wanted the dual fuel option and looked at several brands. I had previously purchased a Westinghouse pressure washer, which I have found to be very reliable, so I opted for the brand I knew I could trust. With the dual fuel option, a 240v plug, and 5300 running watts, this is a good package for the price. Only drawback, I could find with it so far is the wheels are just plastic with no bearings in them, no big thing.

I purchased this earlier this year. Followed the break in process and haven't had to use it as we got it for emergency power loss. Just got hit with a bad storm and lost power and went and got it out and it fired up on the 3rd pull after sitting for several months. Been running our fridge and freezer as well as providing us with some power. Very happy with it.

Bought this generator a few days ago for backup power on our RV and I am impressed with it so far. I believe this will be a great asset during spring and summer camping trips and storm related power outages. Have already recommended this unit to several friends!

Just bought this after researching some online. Not sure on the Westinghouse brand for generators but it was a dual fuel, has the 30 amp for home and / or RV use and high starting and running watts. The most bang for the buck that I came across. So we shall see the actual reliability and ease of use. Will be used primarily as home backup in emergency

I love the dual fuel option. Will explore adding a connection to home propane tank for larger supply availability. Sure beats relying on gas when the power is out and gas pumps are down. Also appreciate that it has metal shrouds vs the plastic on some of the others I looked at.

Everything seems fine, Im running it through a break in period but I couldnt start it right out of the box because I recieved the unit with a caved in cover over the pull start mechanism. The blue grill that houses the pulling assembly was caved in to the point where I couldn't pull the cord at all. I had to remove it and cut it and reform it so it would spin freely. All in all the generator seems like its well built enough and there is attention to detail in its manufacture. I would like for someone from westinghouse to get back to me and send me a replacement cover and pull start assembly though.
