User friendly

I waited for this generator to come back in stock and I'm glad I did. Put the wheels and feet on, filled with oil, hooked it up to a propane bottle and it fired off on the fourth pull. Ran quieter than I was expecting. Great layout and user friendly. You can't go wrong on this one. Tool kit and oil funnel shows they care about their customers. Warranty was the best I saw. Quality product.

Simple to set up and use

I bought this earlier this week anticipating a huge winter event (still waiting for it). Right out of the box it was simple to mount the wheels and pads. I hooked mine up to propane as I have a few portable tanks around and in just a couple of pulls we were running smooth. It seems to be a great generator that is simple to use. I hope I really don’t have to find out how well it works in a snow/ice storm, but I’d recommend anyone looking for an inexpensive option for a bit of back up power give it a try!

Duel Fuel for the win!

So far so good! Product arrived on time and as described. Very little assembly required! Came with a container of oil, so only needed to add gas or propane...and ready to go! Hope I never need to use this generator, but glad to have it if I do in an emergency! We were drawn to this model for the RV 30A outlet as well as Duel Fuel option.

Great Power

I bought this a few months ago and when our power went out I was able to get it going and turn on all the necessity items in the house with no problem. For example my refrigerator my stove, and almost all lights in my house. Would be nice if it had a remote start feature.

Just Bought

I bought this last week. Was delivered with a few cracks and chips to the black protective frame coating. Adding the engine oil is not user-friendly, having to screw in the funnel that is barely long enough to allow the oil to be poured in. Then you have to unscrew the funnel, now dripping oil, in order to check that you don't overfill. Would make sense to provide a container of oil with the same capacity as the oil pan. Ran the 1-hour break-in using propane. Started on the 5th pull. At the end of the hour I plugged in a drop light and it worked. Haven't used yet in a real world situation, like a blackout during a storm. Not happy about all the warnings about not using in rain or snow, as those are the situations where it will likely be needed. Can't rate or recommend until I actually use it in a blackout.

Very Nice Generator

So far I have really liked this generator. Easy to put together. Started on the first pull. Best priced generator on the market with all the features on it. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is I haven't had a need to power my house to see how it works for an extended amount of time.

Great dual fuel for the price

Opened up the box. Everything was there, and easy to get up and running. I hooked it to a propane tank, followed the directions, gave it a yank. It started right up and was pleasantly surprised at the sound level. Propane makes it easy to store, and still be ready to power lots of things in my house in an emergency. Not to much, but enough, I hope.

Fairly Light and easy to start.

I purchased the WGen5300DFCV some time ago and finally decided to unbox it. It was easy to assemble . It came with 4 stroke 10W30 oil 0.7 litter . It’s a bit loud. It’s fairly easy to start up with the instructions on a sticker on top of the generator. It is dual fuel one of the main reasons I got it. I would recommend it.

Worked great so far!

We recently had a planned outage in my area due to changing of poles and I am currently working from home due to Covid and I used this two days for 4-8 hours and it worked perfectly. I was able to use my tv, my internet, and a lamp. I am looking forward to seeing how much juice it really has when we have to use it for longer!!

Thoughtful design

I was very impressed by well thought out design. From the included funnel to fill the oil, which is a flexible plastic with threads that screw into the oil fill with a rubber sealer gasket, to the fold away handle for transporting it. It started first pull using propane. Also I really like the power outlet covers and multi function gauge. I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this product for others.
