Excellent value

Excellent value. Great instructions. Went together easy (feet and wheels). Includes a screw-in funnel for adding the 10-30 oil (which is included). Started right up on propane. Ran the one-hour burn-in problem free. Will work perfectly in 240 volt mode (120 volts on L-1 and L-2) for our RV. Only negative is that the oil drain is located right over the frame, so to prevent a mess we will need to rig up some kind of "flume" (if you will) to direct used oil to a suitable container.

Very Nice Looking !

I love the way this unit is put together...Very easy to understand to controls and very easy to assemble. And YES....it has a handle. None of the photos I saw in the ads showed a handle...thought I would have to buy one somewhere, but it flips up and tucks down... makes it very nice to use. Love to fact that it use both gas and propane... So happy to have this one!!

Perfect for my needs

I bought a new home in Austin. The winter ice storm was a real chilly wake-up call. Been looking into generators. I like it has the dual-fuel option. I started up this weekend, It was fun to light up a campsite for some Glamping..Hope I won't need this Winter but feel more prepared.

Great Power, Greater Value!

I purchased this, due to the extended power outage from Hurricane Zeta. This generator was small in size, but could hold 5 gallons of gas and lasted over 13hrs (providing concentrated power to my bedroom)! My outage lasted 2 days, and this generator made the power outage FAR more bearable than it would without it. I would highly recommend this generator!

Good Price

This Generator was the best Value for dollar Dual Fuel Generator I could find on the market that would run the essentials of my house. Right out of the box, I broke the engine in just like every other small engine enthusiast agreed to do. I changed the oil multiple times as I ran it through short heat cycles, so I expect this generator will last a very long time. I plan to use it twice a year, and hopefully never needing it for a personal crisis.

Westinghouse WGen5300DFv

Haven’t got to use it much besides starting up and watching YouTube videos about it. Never had a generator. But we live in a rural area and when there’s snow or ice power will go out. Bought a 4 prong Champion extension cord as well. Easy set up an use.

Great feature set for the price point

This is my first generator purchase for home and was needing something that could provide temporary power for some critical equipment at the house. The running capacity gives plenty of headroom to allow other devices and the dual fuel capability provides that extra level of assurance that I was looking for and at a price point that I was able to fit in.

Ready for the next power outage!!

I am ready to meet the next power outage. I like the dual fuel feature as leaving gas in a carburetor makes for work in the long run if you forget to drain the fuel. (be sure to get non ethanol fuel) I finally got around to testing this out. Started and ran great. For testing I plugged in two heaters and ran a circular saw. The generator responded to the saw well. Certainly not enough to max out generator, but around 3000 with propane. I might change to 5w30 synthetic oil as often power outages happen here at -20 deg F-- pull start hard. Long term-- we will see but so far so guide.

Great product

I just bought the product with the protection plan. The thing that sold me was being able to plug propane into it. A lot of times during storms gas is out because everyone has a car but i can use a good old fashioned propane tank to fuel it. great idea and can hold a serious load
