Bought this two years ago and using it for the first time during a power outage. It’s been going for 24 hours solid. We have it hooked up to a transfer switch that runs several things in the home, including the refrigerator, the well water pump, master bedroom, lights, and so much more. It has been a powerhouse so far and a lifesaver during a power outage. Highly recommend!

I already owned a Honda generator, but Westinghouse had a price I couldn't walk away from plus it had a bigger power output as well as running on propane and gasoline. Since unboxing it and following the instructions for starting it for the first time I've been truly impressed. It's easy to start and actually blows my Honda Generator away. I have owned many Westinghouse products over the years and have been a satisfied buyer in all cases. I have a hard time expressing exactly how impressed I am with my new Wgen5300DFV generator, but I have no doubt it will continue to meet or exceed my needs in the future.

I purchased this product in anticipation of Hurricane Idalia. Thankfully we did not need it; but it is nice to know we have power back up in the event of another storm. We lost power last year after Hurricane Ian and we do not want to go through that again.

I purchased the generator in August. Very easy to get get operational; add provided oil, and put in some gasoline. The generator usually starts on the first pull, after engaging the choke. The choke can be disengaged after a few seconds. I have been using the generator for up to 8 hours at one time, in 90 degree heat, with no issues. I am very pleased with the Westinghouse generator and I highly recommend the generator.

My wife bought this for me as a Christmas present. The dual fuel option is great so that I don’t need to keep large amounts of gasoline on hand. Spare propane tanks are easy and convenient to have around for grill and fire pit. The unit had a dented alternator cover but customer service helped me register the unit and get a new cover shipped after confirming the unit worked correctly. I recommend this product for your emergency power needs. Easy to operate. Good to have for charging items when power is out.

Purchased this genny in preparation of the possible power outages from the "Siberian Express" snowstorm headed towards the Great Lakes. This is the first one ever owned, and the many excellent reviews, affordability, and Westinghouse brand helped make my decision. Since it hasn't been put to the test yet, this review will be updated later.

I bought this unit during a recent power outage. This one was the perfect size and offered the dual fuel option, which is critical for my purposes. I have so far put 30 hours on it and it has run flawlessly. I am only using propane at this time, but it was very easy to start and provided adequate power for all the items I needed to run. I got around 10-12 hours on a typical 20lb grill tank.

I needed a 220v generator that could run my well. My previous generator only supplied 120v and this was the smallest generator I could find that supplied 220v and also used dual fuel. I love the fact that it has a remote and electric start which will make things easier during a longer duration power outage. It's even better that it uses propane because I don't have to worry about fuel spoiling. Propane never goes bad. If there was one negative it's that I had to get one that was so large. I only need 2-3000 watts but being a larger unit this will never have to rev up to supply what I need.

Just purchase it. Well built machine that looks like it will last. The dual fuel is great because you can keep propane forever, and not have to worry about gasoline turning bad or gumming up the engine. Removes the need to drain the gas when storing it. The noise level is about the same as a lawnmower and shouldn't be a problem during emergencies. Overall great generator.

I purchased this product after a recent power outage during a snowstorm. During my such I found this item to have better reviews, the size was perfect, it has dual power options and lasts a long time on fuel. I'll never go without heat during a snowstorm again.
