I bought the generator to keep my refrigerator running and my aquarium alive. We used it everyday for a week after Hurricane Ian. We had more than enough electricity, so we setup a neighborhood charging station for our neighbors to charge their cellphones, razor, and prosthetic leg.

Good generator at a good price. Easy to start and reliable. Surprisingly easy to switch between gas and LP. Only a few complaints, the one foot was bent straights from the box (see pictures) so it could not be attached correctly. The plastic plug for the oil, is difficult to screw in if not aligned perfectly and the metal you screw it in to can easily chew up the plastic threads.

Purchased this Westinghouse generator as I live in Florida and need an alternate power source. I like the flexibility, having dual fuel sources, i.e. gasoline and propane, as well as its power to meet my needs. Westinghouse is a great name for great products.

After thinking about getting a generator for years I finally decided to buy this unit. After putting it together and adding the oil I hooked it up to a propane tank and it started right up. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was. I was expecting it to be louder. I just bought this unit in case the power goes out at my house for an extended time. Hopefully I will not use it much. At this price point it is worth it.

Bought fresh m big box stores. Was shipped to me free by FedEx. Good packaging, everything was in good condition. Added included engine oil, installed included wheels and rubber feet. Added premium non ethanol fuel, turned on fuel, set choke, bam; one pull fired right up, smooth idle, 110 volt outlet/output perfect! So happy I now have an emergency power source! Crazy times we live in, every home owner should buy one in case of a power failure of the grid!

WE HAD A FLOOD IN OUR LOWER LEVEL AND NEEDED THE GENERATOR BECAUSE THE BATTERY BACKUP ON THE SUMP PUMP FAILED. THE GENERATOR WAS EASY TO SETUP AND START AND AS SOON AS WE HOOKED UP THE SUMP PUMP IT RAN WITHOUT TROUBLE. A LIFE SAVER PRODUCT THAT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE AS A BACKUP.

We just bought this today and have not used it yet. I love the options of multiple outlets since we own a 5th wheel trailer. Also, a little over a month ago we had a storm come thru that knocked power out. Some people had no electricity for over a week. What made it bad was it was still in the 100's ( I live in Arizona). Now, I won't have to worry about something like that.

For the price point, this is a really good purchase. Prior to purchase, I researched all of the generator models, watched a ton of YouTube video reviews, and found this model to be the best bang for the buck. There are a bunch of reviews of poor packaging with damaged parts upon arrival and mine arrived to my porch delivered, by Fedex, on it's side and I feared the worst. I drug it in my garage, opened the box and to my amazement, not a single scratch on my new power source (see pic). The unit is much quieter than I thought it would be and started on the first pull. I live at 7034' and I strongly recommend purchasing the high altitude kit when going much above 3000'. You need to reduce the amount of fuel going into the carburetor so as to arrive at the proper fuel/air ratio. A lot of generator owners skip this step. One cannot cheat this this lower oxygen level condition at higher elevation and the upgrade is critical to preventing the spark plug from fouling and for maximum efficiency. So far so good, Dave M.

I'm not sure how well it will work in a long run. But it starts and seems to run fairly quiet. I guess we'll see once it gets some use. It always seems ridiculous to ask for a review as soon as you buy something. I have no real idea how it will work. I bought this in case I lose power but that has not happened yet, so maybe I will revisit this next year.

Bought this now I'm ready for the next big storm. Just tried it out seems to be working fine. If you hate wasting money buy one of these generators for your house and have the peace of mind and food that you spent all your hard earned money on. This will pay for it self in a few years. Reasonable price as well
