The key thing is that it works, and it makes electricity when needed. I love the dual fuel feature, but so far have never used anything but propane. It takes a few pulls to get it started (likely flushing air out until the propane gets to the engine). I got it as a backup after the issues with the Texas electric grid. But, it is handy to power electric tools at the far end of the property where it is too far to realistically string extension cords. I haven't had a generator before, but now it seems like something that I don't want to ever be without.

I bought this a month ago and have only had a chance to use it once but it started up easily and I love the flexibility of dual fuel. Since it will be used infrequently being able to run on propane and not have to worry about gas going bad is a great benefit.

Excellent delivery. All parts look good. In hind sight I could have talked to customer support before purchasing to determine the best size for my needs.I think I could have gone smaller and maybe chosen the electric start.No local dealers to go to and kick the tires but the quality is great and I have plenty of power, I'm happy.

I bought this generator to supplement our Solar System during bad weather and a power outage. The setup was easy, and it started right up. I particularly like the engine oil funnel that comes with it, which made it super simple to fill in the engine oil. The oil came with it, too.The dual fuel option allows to use regular BBQ gas bottles, which you can store longer that gas without the fuel going bad. The hardware for attaching gas bottles is included.

I'm heading back to my house damaged by Hurricane Ida with no electricity services. This machine powers my UPS and its not switching to battery so the power is clean enough to use it as an inverter and save some money. Much higher quality than Duromax from packaging and the manual to the paint job and outlet covers.

Started right up. The ability to use propane or gasoline is really awesome. I have not had to use it yet for emergencies but don't doubt it will work as expected. Only thing that seems sub-par is the oil plug. It has already cross threaded and not sure why it is not a stronger piece of plastic. I will likely try and get another one, perhaps one that is a bit stronger. That is minor though.

so I live in an area where there's a lot of hurricanes and anyone around here would know that the gas pumps get backed up real quick by people trying to hurry up and get gas when storms are coming so the fact that this takes propane also is going to save me a lot of time and aggravation! I love that it comes with wheels so that I can easily transport it to wherever we need to use it and that it takes regular engine oil not the two-stroke that becomes hard to find. Great purchase!

Overall very happy with the purchase and features. Love the ability to have both propane and gas options. The generator is a bit heavy, but is reasonable for 5k watts. It is also a bit load, but also as expected from reading the reviews. Everything is as advertised and would recommend as a general purpose generator.

I bought this just yesterday and cannot attest to functionality yet. However, I am impressed with the quality of material and buildout. Easy to install feet and wheels, components and parts do not feel cheap. Came with everything needed to start it up minus the fuel. Will break in the my generator for an hour later today.

I'm glad that I didn't settle for any other generator. We have lost power at least twice a year for an extended amount of time. I had researched many different generators and found this dual fuel system to be the best for my home situation and optionally for using outside the home. I always have had propane fuel at home for my gas grill but thought I would be using gasoline. I now consider the propane selection to be primary and gas as a backup. The noise level is low enough to not disturb my neighbors also. I runs so smooothly.
