For the money I expected much more, but the bar struggled to fill my 375sf family room. For all it's "AI calibration" it lacked punch for the price. I decided to save $ and instead went with the S70TR and it was far better sound in the room and paired perfectly with my 77 OLED C3.

Although LG falsely claims the SPQ8-S speakers can be added as rear speakers they are not available anywhere. To my knowledge these are the only rear speakers compatible with this set so do not purchase these if you are looking for a surround sound system.

Honestly, I had low expectations. I haven’t owned a sound bar in years. BUT the quality of the sound and the cohesiveness of the set up is amazing. The WOWCAST really uses each speaker to its full potential. The bass is perfect and the sound changes among the different settings is really impressive. It definitely matches the quality of my C2 TV.

The sound quality is almost as good as that of a stereo receiver with 5.1 or better speaker configuration. When paired with corresponding LG tv there are a ton of options for the sound. Everything from working by itself or in conjunction with the tv speakers. I find YouTube and other lesser quality streaming services a little flat sounding and lacking bass from the subwoofer, but with streaming from Amazon, Disney or HBO plus the soundbar excels, the surround sound kicks in, the subwoofer comes alive and rivals a lot of sound systems.

I have been using the LG SC9S soundbar for a few weeks and my audio and video experience has improved greatly. The soundbar provides crisp sound. The subwoofer is not overpowering. It has a sleek appearance. I have a large TV so it compliments the TV in terms of size. The setup was easy. It connects to Bluetooth easily. The volume display is hidden in the front panel but displays different color and level of light to indicate volume. I have not maximized the potential of the sundbar so I am confident my listening experience will be even better. I would highly recommend this product.

When I change station, the volume would either increase or decrease. I'm constantly changing the volume which is very annoying. Maybe someone can instruct me how to make the correct setting.
