Even wearing tire with a smooth and quiet ride and designed with a nice square shoulder edge, not rounded. Great traction in dry and wet conditions and as an added bonus offers the sidewall rim guard to protect our alloy wheels. Not a performance feature but the sidewall design looks great after you clean and dress them up.

The Goodyear Fortera tires came on my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When they reached 8 1/2 years old, I decided to replace them and was happy to find them at Walmart.com!! The price was good and the installation at my local Walmart was quick and easy. The old tires only had 48,000 miles on them and still had plenty of tread left. I only replaced them because of the age of the tires (we live in Arizona and they have been exposed to plenty of heat!).

Tires were rotated every 14k miles and tire wore down evenly but cracks are all over the top treads of all tires. No cracks appear on sidewalls. Tires have 42k miles on them and I will replace them due to cracks. Treads do have gashes in stops too. Smooth ride though, getting a new set of tires this week and will probably go with these again. Good traction in snow and rain on a 4wd Jeep.

I love these tires! I haven't had any performance issues with them. I had a nail or something in the sidewall and I paid for the road hazard when I had them installed at the store. I had a time due to the pandemic getting one replaced but they are good tires. very quiet compared to what I had. I would recommend and I would purchase these again!

Tire is a very soft rubber. Easily punctured. Have had to repair almost the whole set due to just driving down a gravel driveway and a rock sticks in it. After you get some wear on it ride is rough with some roaring on highway at higher speeds. Need a new set after anywhere between 15,000 to 20,000 miles that's even with regular maintenance. Would not recommend this tire.

These were original tires on our SUV. They performed very well for 60,000 miles so wanted to replace with the same. I shopped walmart.com for a few months before the Goodyear brand tires finally were available. The installation technicians at our Walmart store are excellent. They take their time and make sure everything is done properly. Walmart also has the best prices in our area.

Purchased a full set as a replacement tire for the OEM POS that came with '98 Ranger P/U (I still own it). Wanted a long lasting, QUIET tire as the originals were neither. I've had the Forteras for nearly 70,000 miles. They are nearing the end of their treadlife. Overall? Not a bad tire at all. As you can see, their treadlife is excellent. On dry pavement, handling and grip are very good. However, from THE very first rain, these things have been treacherous. They lose adhesion and skid with little provocation, and my wife and daughter both can attest that I drive VERY carefully. Every time I go out in the wet, I have to remember which vehicle I am in and drive accordingly. Poor grip in snow as well. So much so, I had to buy chains for peace of mind. If you live in Arizona: These are great tires. If as I do, you live in the Upper Left Hand Corner of the USA: Buy anything else.

These tires have 20,700 miles on them and are nearly worn to the wear bars. These tires were the original dealer tires on the vehicle when I bought the vehicle new. Most of the driving has been city with some highway mileage. The tires are warranted for 60,000 miles but don't look like these tires will come close.

The tires were great in the snow and rain. They got me home in my Jeep plenty of times in the snow after a long day of work. Never had a problem. I wished they lasted longer than they did. I've only had them 2 years and apparently I need a new set of tires already. If they only lasted, I would've definitely bought another replacement set.

I have a 2007 Jeep Commander I bought in 2008 with 6000 miles on it. I have no idea what kind of tires were on it originally, but when I replaced them in 2012, I bought the Fortera HL's. I have since put on another 100K miles on that set since purchasing and am just now having to replace them. These tires have taken me from MN to New York City, Philly, and even Atlanta numerous without any issues. Nice, smooth drive. Had them rotated only twice in all that time. Probably could have eeked out a few more miles if I had them rotated more often, but I am quite happy with their performance. Looking forward to many more miles with this new set!
