My car came from the factory with these tires. I have stuck with this brand/tire for 13 years, because I like how my car performs with them. They last about 60,000 miles, depending on how much you drive. The ones I ordered recently are to replace 2 rear tires that were 9 years old. One got a sidewall puncture and the other looked ok but apparently had dry rot. I like the these tires. I run them on my 2013 Dodge Durango with AWD.

I try to Alway Goodyear these Fortera have always been good to me and my Chrysler Aspen My last set lasted 7 yrs and still had tread to use. Love these tires

I live in the snow belt in Western New York and currently have 41,000 miles on these Fortera tires. They have been a great tire in snow, rain and offer very little road noise. These tires are softer so your handling and ride will be very comfortable, at the expense of tire life. In perfect conditions with a 2WD vehichle, you may get 60k miles, but do not expect to see 60k on an all wheel drive vehicle. I'm purchasing these tires again, likely late fall so I have good winter grip. By that time, I'll have 45,000 miles which is respectable for factory tires. Living in New York where the roads are probably the worst in the country, these tires have held up. I rotate them every 6-8K miles and have them balanced as well, which is important for proper wear and noise. These tires have been a pleasant surprise.

I have almost 70k miles on my 2014 Jeep Summit, and these tires are the best I've ever had. They came new on the car when I purchased and have not needed any maintenance. We traveled across the country many times, never needed to add air between 10k mile servicing; and honestly I never rotated them. What more can you ask for! I'm purchasing these tires again. Auto center said my Fortera tires that I have put over 60K miles on were in the 4.3 range. I probably could have eeked out a few more miles on them, but with winter coming decided to replace with the same. These times have lasted past their guaranteed life and have handled a wide variety of road surfaces. I have them rotated with every other oil change. Very pleased. Hope the new Fortera tires last as long!

I put the Fortera HL tires to the test shortly after installing them on my SUV. While driving 500 miles from VA to S.C. I encountered snow, ice, slush, sleet, freezing rain and rain. The tires handled the adverse driving conditions flawlessly. On the dry pavement ride back to VA. the tires again handled flawlessly and I was very pleased with the Fortera HL tires indeed. My only complaint with the Fortera HL tires, is that my average fuel consumption has dropped from 20 MPG to 18 MPG. I keep the 4 tires inflated to 34 PSI.

The employees were friendly. The good part stopped there. First I got a message telling to schedule the installation of my tires. I call, and I’m transferred to a call center where the employees barely spoke English. They scheduled the installation, but contacted me two hours before to tell me they didn’t have all the tires and I would have to reschedule when the fourth tire would come in. I never received a phone call to tell me it was in. Every time I called, you guessed it, right back to the call center. I had to go to the store and find out that the fourth tire was never ordered. It was ordered but I never received a call to have them installed. I had to make another trip to find out that it was there, but could not be installed that day. I came back another day and had an appointment for 12:00. I was on my lunch hour. After 45 minutes I was told they were still working on it, but it had already been started so I couldn’t leave and it look another hour. The people I spoke with face to face were pleasant but I will tell everyone to stay away from Sam’s when you need tires.
