[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been wanting a weighted blanket to see if it would help me sleep and rest better. I have been pleasantly surprised that it really does help. This blanket is very soft and I love the way it feels. I was concerned when I first lifted the blanket that it would be too heavy but once I spread it out over the bed then it distributed the weight perfectly. I love the way it feels when I cover up and gives just the right amount of pressure. I was surprised at how well I rested the first time I tried it. It has a cool and warm side, I like the cool side since I get hot easily. I also like that it has a removable cover so it can be kept clean. The cover has ties so that the blanket stays securely attached and does not bunch up. Very happy with this blanket.

It is really cooling and smooth feeling on the one side and the other side is a bit warmer and a softer/fuzzed feeling! The outside cover comes off for easy washing and the insert has ties that go on the inside cover to prevent it from shifting. The inside is made of glass beads - how cool! It is roughly 48x72". A great starter 12lb weighted blanket if you're just wanting to try a weighted blanket out - suggested for adults over 100lb! Especially great for people like me, who get very warm - I really love the cooling affect!

I was skeptical whether this could actually help with night sweats, but I have only had one night in a month that I woke up drenched, and I was sick that weekend! Still getting used to the weight, but it comforts me. My only complaint is my cats try to chase the beads when I move. 😂

Love this blanket, thought 12 lbs sounds like a lot but you have to realize the weight is distributed evenly throughout the blanket so next time I will order a heavier one. Makes you feel nice and cozy!

Love that is also cooling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure how cooling and blanket go together but this weighted blanket seems to pull it off nicely. The cover has a silky, slippery feeling side and a micro suede feeling side. The lining is cooling while making a swish, swish type sound when it moves around. Reminds me of the parachute jackets we rocked in the 90s. Only this beauty holds a thin weighted fabric inside that wraps your anxiety and restless legs into a cozy bliss. The size is appropriate for a sofa or recliner but not quite big enough for a twin bed. The cover comes off and is washable which is my absolute favorite part, no trying to wash and dry all 12 pounds at one time when needed. Nice quality, would make a great gift.

This is actually cooler than most blankets, but I dont think it will be cool wnough for summer, which was my hope. Its actually kind of loud, as when you move you can hear the beads moving around. It wakes up my partner when I move. The cover is super soft on both sides. It took me a few trials to find which was the cool side (I landed on smooth side down). The weight is okay. I weight about 135 and feel like I could have gone to a 15lb one. This might be good in the winter, but unfortunately its still a bit too hot for me.

it's a good quality weighted blanket, but it gets too hot so quickly. The removal cover was nice, but it gets too warm. The weight distribute evenly. if you don't mind it gets hot, then it is a good deal.

This blanket is cool initially however, after a little while of sleeping, it gets very hot and uncomfortable. Overall, I would not recommend this blanket.
