That is until I got a packet of Ben's Original Ready Rice. The Spanish Style Flavored Rice is our favorite so far. It's got amazing flavor, cooks up insanely fast, and it's just the right amount of rice for any main dish I cook for the family. I can't wait to try more flavors!

I can either put it in the microwave, right in it's pouch, or open it up and cook it in a skillet. Either way it cooks up perfectly and tastes flavorful and delicious.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was making a sausage, onion, pepper stir fry and needed something to go with it. I had this packet of Ben's Spanish Style rice. To prepare it was simple: I squeezed the package as directed to separate the rice. Then tear the top of the package about 2 inches for it to vent. I cooked mine in the microwave so it was 90 seconds for it. You can then take it out using the cool touch side opposite from the tear. I put it in a serving bowl and we had it with our sausage stir fry. This rice really went well it and complimented the taste. It was just a tad spicy, in a good way. It wasn't dry. We loved it and there wasn't any left.

Until I try the packet of Ben's Ready Rice Spanish Style Original Ready Rice with Tomatoes and Peppers it tastes amazing you feel the flavor of the seasonings and the perfect measure for each person and easy to prepare or you just put it in the microwave and ready it comes out whole nothing beaten and tried other brands and regularly it has a weird taste and it really beats when you heat it this rice is worth buying my family loved it so we will try the other flavors I really recommend them for the whole family.

The direction says it can be reheated in a microwave, but I find it a drying so I put it in a small pot and added some water to reheat on the stove top. Turned out great.

I used water as directed to heat, but found it was a little dry for my taste, next time I would use a teaspoonful or two more. I confess I miss the “Uncle Ben's” branding. It was around for many years a recognizable.

I will normally cook this up in 90 seconds and then eat it with my chicken tacos and the flavor is always spot on. This is a perfect weekend night dinner side. Super fast and tastes sooo good!

This product exceeded my expectations and there was not a sacrifice in flavor. I can't wait to use this instead when I want to dedicate time to other culinary items. There was enough helpings for our family, and even had left overs. I can't wait to use again in the future!
