What the fudge!?!! You changed Dot’s pretzels after purchasing the recipe for $1.2 BILLION?!? Now they are YUK! They were always a special treat for us…. I bought a few bags in February which were pretty good… just bought a couple of bags for this recent Memorial Day celebration… I thought I was drunk when I could hardly taste any of the seasonings! I wasn’t drunk, because I don’t drink… anyway, decided to do a random google search on what happened!?!?! Sure as all get out! YOU RUINED A MOST DELICIOUS TREAT FOR MOST OF AMERICA!!!!! I can understand her selling out due to production!!! But changing the flavor profile so drastically?!?! If I was the woman that created the recipe, I would sue ur assets to the ground!!! Shame on all of you!!!!! You changed too many things that were always good in the beginning but then change things again and again!!! Don’t fix what’s not broken!!!!!!!

I personally did not like the flavor i thought original would be plain but they are not bad. It’s basically just a really seasoned pretzel. i did appreciate how it wasn’t too much seasoning

These pretzels are impossible to put down. Growing up, my mom always had a bag of regular pretzels around and I never wanted to touch them. As soon as I tried Dot's at a tailgate, they're always in my pantry and I can't go on a road trip or vacation without them. 100% buy these.

Highly recommend especially for my pack lunches or just a quick snack. I was surprised how much was in the bag. Usually I get other bagged snacks and they come half full.

For years, Dot’s pretzels have been our family’s favorite snack. We would bring home several bags when we would visit family in the Midwest. In the last few months we have noticed a decrease in the quality of the pretzels. The seasoning amount is much less and the buttery rich taste is more artificial tasting than it used to be. With the purchase by the big corporation, we knew that the quality would eventually suffer for the sake of profit, but we had hopes it would take longer than this. You decreased the quality without decreasing the price which makes this harder to swallow. Please bring back the old recipe so we can enjoy Dot’s pretzels again as a family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pretzels are very yummy, their original dot pretzel flavor is my favorite! My daughters love the other flavors too. They are a low calorie snack and we eat it beside fruits and cheese. My daughters even dip it in melted chocolate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are so delicious. They come in the perfect size, and they are so full of flavor. They taste so flavorful. I also like how they are not to hard, but yet still have the crunch that is wanted and desired.

I will say, my family and I love Dot's until now. Unfortunately we were eating one of our favorite snacks tonight when we noticed the ingredients list. It says right on the front of the bag "Small Town Recipe, BIG Time Flavor". We have read Dot's story as well, knowing it was there special family snack created years ago in her kitchen, so we never really read the ingredients. I know this is not her recipe, as there is no way she created Bioengineered food in her kitchen. Now it says right on the back of the bag "INGREDIENT(S) DERIVED FROM A BIOENGINEERED SOURCE". Who carries Artificial Butter Flavor, Corn Syrup, Maltodextrin, Xanthan Gum, Artificial Flavor, etc in their pantry??? I feel bad for Dot, knowing that you all are ruining her original recipe. We know this is not what she created, but now its all about Money in your pocket. We just threw away out bag and we will not be purchasing again...

Like everyone else who tried these, I was in love from the first bite. I just bought a bag of the garlic pretzels, my favorite, and will not buy them again unless they are marked "original garlic" or some such notice. There is half the flavoring on them than there used to be. Before, your fingers were covered with seasoning from the first pretzel Now it's mostly just pretzel. Also, both the original and the garlic have more of a spicy aftertaste than the seasoning that WAS on there. There was no heat whatsoever on the garlic before, and I don't recall any on the original. This past week I bought both and both were too spicy for me to keep eating. WHY do people have to mess with success??? Bad bad move.
