The hardest part was holding the two sides up to start assembling the top. It takes at least two people for that part. So far, it’s been very durable, wind resistant, and maintenance-free.

My 25 year old grandson volunteered to assemble it in my back yard. A little nervous, never having done anything like this, the three huge boxes were a little scary!! Once he got started it became very exciting. Everything came together beautifully. The instructions were perfect and the entire unit went together beautifully. Not a missing bolt or screw. No boards with a scratch or dent. It is perfect. We love it and highly recommend anyone , even an inexperienced handyman, to buy your products. We are so happy we did!!!

We installed it over our front porch/ patio that is surrounded on three sides by existing exterior walls. As you can see it works well with a few adaptations. Needless to say we are very pleased with the results and thoroughly enjoy the new space.

I bought this about a month ago. My client wanted one in her backyard. I showed her this one and she approved it. It took about half a day for my partner and I to assemble it. Easy to follow instructions. Client was beyond pleased with how it turned out. Highly recommended.

It looks great in our backyard and it provided just enough shade for outdoor seating and BBQs. The quality is great and we love it came with plugs for lighting and USB ports. It’s a quality product and I highly recommend it.

I bought mine on clearance at Sam's for $800. The basic pieces are ok, but if you expect it to last I would recommend the following. I added a 2x6 cedar beam underneath the pergola main beams on all four sides. The pergola beams are bolted in the middle and are not structural. I also added a beam in the middle to support the roof structure. I would also recommend using hurricane clips on all the beams and joists. Once I did all of this the entire structure became very firm. In addition, you should coat the entire pergola with a clear polyurethane every year. The added cost was about $250 in wood, finish, and hardware.
