Easy to open, store & clean. Pretty portable cot.

Attention all grandparents, this is the best cot ever! It's so easy to open (literally with one hand) and to store (it comes in it's own sleeve yet I've also kept the box). It's also not heavy to carry. My granddaugther is 2 and a half and the moment she saw this open, she went right to bed. This was a miracle because she was otherwise sleeping with us as our daugther and son-in-law unfortunately had her accustomed to sleeping with them (so she didn't sleep on any other "bed" in the house). Yet, when she saw this open (and it sits on the most beautiful rug I bought which I'm also going to review momentarily "Segma Inc. Merna Light Purple Kids Rug") she immediately went to bed (in the cot), covered herself up, and it wasn't until the next morning, 9AM, that we saw her little bright eyes light up again. I think it's because she's used to sleeping in cots at school that she took to it so quickly. She slept comfortably all night. Now, she's a very long, thin child, so I don't know how long this will last, yet, for now, with every other weekend overnights, it's a true God send! I hope it works out for your "kids". It's easy to clean and dries quickly (oh, it has a pink fitted sheet so you only need a pillow (if they use it) and a throw of course. I highly recommend this product.

I got this for my 3 year old son a week ago and he has slept on it 5 out of the last 7 nights. He hasn't gotten as good of a sleep if he was in a bed (not enough room to roll around, he's a mover) but it does fine. He wakes up and we just put him in his big bed. We bought it for him to use during a yearly camping trip and for visits to family and it should work out well for that.

Great next step from pack n play

I bought two cots for my 18 month old twins (A boy and a girl) to sleep on during the day with their nanny and also for summer road trips. They both loved their cots right away. I was nervous they may have been to high when I first Took them out of the box and also that they may not be sturdy enough. Both worries quickly vanished. We've been using them for about 2 months now with no problems. They are light weight and easy to store. Glad I made the purchase!

Great for Travel

We bought it because we live in a 5th wheel traveling the USA for work - so we have very limited space. Our 3 year old daughter uses it nightly. There is a bar in the center that can make sleeping a little uncomfortable if you are heavy enough (had a 100 lb weight). Our 8 year old daughter of 50 pounds can feel the bar. So we bought a queen size egg topper mattress pad and folded it up to fit. Works WONDERFUL, was inexpensive and is easily portable also. Great for motel stays too! She loves her foldable, kids sized bed!

Smaller than I thought

My 4 yr old granddaughter uses this when she comes to spend the nite. She loves having her own little bed. I originally thought it was a bit bigger, since it says up to 75 lbs. In order for a 75 lb. child to use it, he or she better be short. Since my granddaughter is rather petite and weighs about 33 lbs. this works great. But I know I'll have to replace it in a few years for the height purpose alone, but for the time being it is perfect and very easy to pick up and store away.

Great and compact toddler travel bed

This is the second cot we have purchased. The first one was for our son and had a support strap that stretched the middle of the bed making it a little uncomfortable to sleep on. I made a little pad for it so we solved the problem. This time, the model has been improved and has better placed support straps. No need for a pad for it. The cot comes with a removable fitted sheet and folds up about the size of a camping chair. Easy to tote with the travel bag and light enough for my child to carry themselves. Wonderful and quick setup for sleeping at the grandparents house. This is more of a toddler sixe bed. My 6 year old recently outgrew his.

Good for Grandma's house

I purchased two cots for visiting grandchildren. The cots are rated for up to 70 lbs. However my 6 year old grandson found the cot uncomfortable. Although only he is 56 lbs the braces were uncomfortable for him. My younger grandchild however slept well and the cots fold easily for storage. I would recommend the cot for children 4 and under.

Didn't work for my child

I purchased the cot after reading about it several places online, where it got great reviews. We took it to the grandparent's home for a weekend trip, hoping it would replace the out-grown pack-n-play for our two year old. The cot appears well made and is easy to set up, but our son fell off the edge several times during the night. Perhaps he's just not ready yet, and it may work well for a child that's adjusted to sleeping in a bed vs. a crib.

I want another one!

I love the bed. My 4yr.old sneeks in my room everynight and sleeps on it. It's big enough for him to grom into. I can pack it and take it anywhere. I even used it one night for my 2yr. old when he had the flu so he could stay in our room. Very safe and low to the ground. We will be buying another one for our youngest this summer!

Bought two, one broke within one week.

I run a small in home daycare, and purchased these cots for the two toddlers I care for. While the children did not break these cots, and loved having their own space. My 30 lb cocker spanial jumped up on one. I suppose it was the force of his jump, but it broken the bracket connecting the material in the corner of the mat. I thought these cots were made to with stand 100 lbs? I think that I have either a faulty bracket (which is made of plastic) or they are not as strong as I had expected. However, the second cot I purchased remain in tact and is in use. My overall review will be determined on how smoothly the return/exchange of the broken cot, which I will be doing this weekend. The disappointing aspect of the situation is that one of the two toddlers will be without a cot to sleep on, and I will have to make due with some fort of floor pallet until a new item is shipped to the store.
