Don't hesitate to buy this cot!

We bought this based on the reviews and it did not disappoint! This is a great travel bed. We bought two for our twins on our recent trip from DC to Florida, where we stayed at four different places. It was nice for them to have consistent beds no matter where we were. They slept through the night each night too! Since we were tight on space I did not bring a blanket to put between the cot and provided cover (recommended by many reviewers) and they were fine with the comfort. Crib/toddler mattresses are hard so they are used to sleeping on a more firm surface. I will be recommending this to anyone traveling with young kids!

Great Product

We bought this cot for our 18 month old that refuses to sleep in a pack and play when we travel. Not only is this cot MUCH smaller than your average pack and play it's also lighter to carry around and easier to set up. She has slept in it for the last 6 nights and has done great. She rolled out of it once but didn't even wake up when she did. It sits about as high off the ground as a crib mattress. Although it comes with a sheet to cover it we use a crib sheet on top of it so it's as close to her regular toddler bed as possible. This has been a great product so far and we plan to use it again on our upcoming move to Japan and any sleepovers at the grandparents house. Highly Recommended!!!

Unfortunately they put a bar in the middle of this cot.... so it's great for a two/three year old, but once they grow enough for their bottom to be in the middle of the cot, they hit the bar. Our daughter loved it until that happened which was about 9 months after we bought it. (she only weighed about 30 lbs.# I would have just splurged and bought something full size that we could have kept for yrs. and saved money in the long run. Really disappointed that anyone would put a metal bar in the middle of a cot. How could anyone sleep on that? #Notice the picture of the happily sleeping child is only mostly on 1/2 the cot.)

TOTALLY UNCOMFORTABLE!! Dont do this to your kid!

Based on the prior reviews of 4/5 stars, I thought this might be ideal for my 3year old on our next vacation. The idea is good, the portability and weight is great. What the pictures do not relate is how uncomfortable the "bed" really is. There is a band that doesnt show up in the photographs that runs across the middle width that doesnt make it comfy at all. Imagine laying on a hammock with a rope going across under your hips!! No way you can relax or even sleep in it. And it is advertised for ages 2-5. My daughter is about to turn 3 next month and is by no means a tall kid and it is just suitable for her height. I could not see a 4 or 5 year old sleeping on this cot. Overall... if they made it 6 inches longer and without the band so the cot would actually be comfortable, this product would be GREAT!

Grandson's cot

Cot is very sturdy. I bought a blue one for my grandson and 2 pink ones for my granddaughters. They are 3 & 4 years old. They love having their own cots at their grandparents house when they come for visits. They fold up nicely to be stored away when not in use. They have a nice matching storage bag.

Smaller than I thought

My 4 yr old granddaughter uses this when she comes to spend the nite. She loves having her own little bed. I originally thought it was a bit bigger, since it says up to 75 lbs. In order for a 75 lb. child to use it, he or she better be short. Since my granddaughter is rather petite and weighs about 33 lbs. this works great. But I know I'll have to replace it in a few years for the height purpose alone, but for the time being it is perfect and very easy to pick up and store away.

Oh my gosh! My two grandsons loved these! It was so simple to put together and I've had no problems with breaking parts or anything else. My grandsons thought they were kings in these Regalo - My Cot Portable Travel Beds. One grandson is 4 and the other is 6. They have not attempted any jumping at this point, probably because they are always watched by some adult; so, I don't know if at that time there will be parts breaking or not. However, for the price I got, these little cots are awesome!

Convenient Bedding!

I, along with my toddler, really enjoy this little bed. There was no assembly at all required :) It was ready to use once out of the box. It folds up so easily and nicely, and was accompanied with a fitted sheet. We take it with us every time we sleep away from home and our son just adores it. He wants to sleep in it even while home. It's also very sturdy, I've laid with him before with no problems. It's a great buy, underpriced, and very durable.

Portable Cot: A Great Product!

I read a lot of reviews on this product before purchasing it. The main complaint was the bar/joint in the middle of the cot. Though this appears uncomfortable to you and I, my 2 year old daughter and her friend had no problem with it. I did add a comforter just in case to make it a little more padded. They slept great on the cot and thought it was fun and exciting. My daughter is excited about sleeping on the cot so hopefully we'll have many instances to get use from it. I am very pleased with the purchase and recommend it to anyone who travels or their child has outgrow a pack N play.

We got this for our almost 2 year old daughter because we needed something less bulky than our portacrib for travel, since my husband's job requires him to travel each month and we go with him. We let Arianna try it out the night before we left, and she loved it. During the trip she was very happy to go to bed in it, and even jumping on it a little didn't harm the cot. Its a lot less bulky than the portacrib, takes up much less room, and is very easy to set up and take down (unlike the portacrib). The only con about it is tiny, I wish it wasn't as loose as it is. Its not so loose that its dangerous or anything, but it'd be nice if it were more taught.
