It starts with the unpacking. You will have to unwind layer upon layer upon layer of plastic - just great for the environment. First time I sat at the edge of the mattress I completely sank into it and my legs disappeared in the foam - I am only weighing 170 lb, mind you! Then I tried sitting at the top of the mattress, a large foam cushion behind my back, making me sit up straight for reading - I looked at my feet up in the air, because once again my buttocks sank into this supposedly medium firm sea of foam. I know I am supposed to sleep on this thing, but even stretching out on this soft foam you have to watch out not to suffocate because once again you are going under! the description says only the first layer is soft, well this thing is soft all the way to the bottom of it. Quite frankly, never have seen or laid upon such a piece of junk 'mattress' in my life, and I have slept on many. This thing is going back right away!

This mattress is more comfortable than our temperpedic mattress that cost more than twice as much. I admit I was skeptical at first but the first time I laid down on it I was in heaven. We also purchased the adjustable frame and without a doubt they are a winning combination.

Mattress is Comfortable & Supportive for the money. There is better mattresses for more money but this was definitely better than the traditional spring mattress it was going to replace. Motion transfer was better than the spring mattress, but have sleep on better in hotel rooms. I natural sleep hot & this was a hot mattress. My fiancé normally sleeps cold, but she was also hot temperature wise. Already ordered more expensive mattress than has better reviews for cooling & will be returning soon. If it sleep cooler would be keeping.

Bought this mattress today. Opened it up and it puffed up right away. But then noticed the smell. It had all day to air out. It was so bad when we tried to sleep on it . At 2:30 a.m. we were up dragging it out of the bedroom. We put cot mattresses on the floor and slept on them. We will be returning this as soon as the store opens. Even with the mattress out of the room we could still smell the fumes.

I feel like my bed never fully expanded, it’s supposed to be firm and it is the softest bed ever and not in a good way. I have tried to return but it is already is out of box in my apartment and I don’t know how to bring it back. Customer Support didn’t help me when I called :( help!

Stinks so bad! Literally like rotten garbage! This was for a kid's room, I don't want him breathing this! I have it in a bedroom upstairs and the entire 2nd floor stinks..it hits you halfway up the stairs! I have been happy with other Sam's mattresses..but never again. And since it's unpacked there is no way I can ever get it into my car to return it. Do not buy!

I was a little bit on the skeptical side that this was going to be a 12 inch mattress when it came in. But after we got it out of the box and set up it lives up to its brand and description 100%. This was a new bed for our son's room (twin ultra plush) and he loves it. Sleeps so much better than he did on the old spring mattress. I would definitely recommend this mattress, it is very comfortable and easy to set up once it's out of the box it will take shape in 5 to 10 minutes. I love how easy it was to handle compared to a box mattress, like night and day. I do suggest getting a mattress cover or pad for it if you are buying for younger children since it is foam on top and will soak up everything.

Bought this mattress in September 2024. By April, the mattress was sagging and uncomfortable. Tried to return, but was strung along until I gave up on returning. Do not buy this mattress!!! It will feel good for a few months, but it won’t go the distance. Wasting your money. Sam’s club really failed on quality and customer service! Won’t buy any big ticket items from them again.

Defective-as others have stated, it has a lump in the middle. Bought it for my guest room. Contacted Sam's through chat to find how to complete a return. They just said I needed to talk to the store. Store said I could put it back in the box (which is impossible) or wrap it in plastic. Then I get to stuff it into my car (which it won't fit in) and drive it back. I also don't live near Sam's so this whole thing is incredibly inconvenient. I tried to upload a picture, but this app only gives me an error message.

astronomical mattresses. Definitely choose this one over the new hybrid one. My entire household has these in all sizes. I bought my first one about 5 years ago and it hasn't had any impressions or imperfections. highly recommended. It has significantly reduced my lower back and hip pains. even the dogs love it
