I've never cooked on a pit, but for my husbands birthday I thought I would try it. Used the Match Light and it was super easy and fast. Turned out great.

I use different varieties of Kingsford when I grill. I mix match light with original to start the process faster. Comes out perfect and delicious everytime

I love Match Light because it's ready to light the bag, let the coals burn, lid on to kill flames and clean grill to cook. There's no dousing with expensive lighter fluid involved. There's no 'other' thing to buy.

I purchased the Match Light for the first time and I am happy for that decision. I was able to light the charcoal effortlessly and the hot coals lasted a very long time.

Bought 2 big bags of the match light for a big bbq.. and we have been trying for 10 minutes with no luck. Think it's no good. Going to have to go buy another brand or some fluid to get it to light.

This is my go-to charcoal - even though I still need to use lighter fluid (haven't mastered the grill yet), I can use way less fluid than with other charcoal.

I tried 3 different kinds and this by far was the best. It lit instantly with the long lighter and stayed lit for a very long time. The key to this is keeping the vents open all the way. The more air flow the hotter the fire.

I bought this to grill out with my family and it was very disappointing because it didnt light. I bought this one because it was easier...I had to end up going to the store and get lighter fluid because it wouldnt start.

My husband has been buying this brand since the 90's. He loves that there is no fuss involved. Give them a try to see for yourself...you won't be disappointed.

Oh sure it lights without lighter fluid however they go out as soon as the lighter fluid is gone. They do not even burn all the way through. Very disappointing as this use to be a good product. I will never ever buy again.
