My husband does most of the grilling, but I have been told that I am definately NOT to buy anything but Match Light charcoal. He loves it and won't use anything else. We try to buy the Match Light Mesquite, but it is very hard to find.

We grill at least once a week and would never use anything other than Kingsford Match Light. When they are out of it on the shelf at my local Kroger, I find a manager to go get some out of the back!

I have been buying this brand for as long as I can remember. I love the fact you need no lighter fluid cause its already on the charcoal. about a 10 min wait before you can begin grilling. Just love it :)

Bought a new bag because I did not want to be short for a birthday barbeque. These briquettes are toxic, smell horrible and a pain to light. Once they do light the toxic smoke off of them is horrible

Got the big bag of the black & red bag and it was sitting in the house for a week and went to use it and we had the chicken on the grill for a hour and still wasnt done

Overall, Kingsford is a the best charcoal available. The Match Light isn't supposed to require lighter fluid, but, it does. I would go with Kingsford charcoal, but, buy the cheaper blue & white bag--it does require lighter fluid.

I tried Matchlight for the first time and was disappointed. The briquets did not light. I had to run to the store to buy lighter fluid so it wouldn't be a waste. Wasted too much time. Nextime I will just get the plain ones and add lighter fluid.

Grabbed the match light kind by mistake but turned out that I like this kind way better then the regular kind. Less grilling time like the package says

Bought these coals to grill on Memorial Day, they would not light no matter what. I tried paper, which would flame up, but they wouldn't stay lit. And halfway through cooking they started to die. Not really what I wanted.

i bought a bag of match light and i was very disapointed in it.after trying to light it for 30 min. i gave up and fixed my hamburgers in the oven. needless to say i will never waist my hard earned money on kingsford match light again!!!!
