this was a great deal. the day before i purchased one 12lb bag for $18 at a grocery store, so for $5 more i got 20lbs more. bet your bottom dollar i took that other bag back immediately after. I definitely will be getting my charcoal for all my summer bbq’s from Sam’s Club from now on.

Regular charcoal was out of stock. This charcoal can’t be lit with my electric starter but lit fine with a match. It takes a lot longer than electricity because you have to wait for all the lighter to dissipate before you can cook. But the fire was nice and hot, it successfully lost the lighter smell (patience!) and the steaks came out great.
