I have always ran these on small 4x4 trucks, my newer Xterra Pro-4x, and my old Nissan Hardbody for nearly 14 years. always rotate them, I have cupping on mine now, but they have some miles on them, and I only do oil changes and rotations once a year.

Was gonna wait till 10,000 miles but don’t want people waiting for this review.. Worst experience with tires. Never had a tire go out of balance so fast and wear down in the first 6k miles like the new bfgoodrich. Every 1500 miles I have to get my tires rebalanced and rotated because it Starts to shake so bad from going out of balance. Had my whole front end rebuilt (06tacoma) and 4 different shops look at it and balance the tires and they all say it’s the tires. Don’t waste your money on them, get general or another brand.

90,000 miles and I finally got a new set of KO2 tires. This is my second set of TA KO2 tires. I have been buying BF Goodrich tires for so long, at least back to about 1995. I will not buy any other brand of tire, none of them qualify to be good enough to be on my Silverado. If you need a tire you can depend on, on or off road....BF Goodrich tires are the ones to get. I do not need to read any reviews on these tires or company because I have put these tires THRU some wild tests on and off the road. My truck was used as a land surveyors truck going across desert looking for property corners to mountain driving in deep snow getting a Christmas tree for the kids. Time and time again, these tires have not failed. They are expensive BUT for your safety, IT IS WORTH THE PRICE. and it is AMERICAN MADE

Used to be a great tire. No more. Maybe because they are changing over to the KO3 but the QC is questionable. Brand new Raptor R. Tires won’t balance without a ton of weight. One tire completely out of round. Ford won’t fix because Ford’s criteria for a bad tire is so high there’s no way you can meet their standard for a bad tire. They’re intentional with that obviously. . So going to try BFG direct. See if they will help.

My comment is about the new BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2 in size 285/75-16 Load Range E. I don't really like them. Especially their ride quality, meaning noise, smoothness, and rut handling. I have had them on my 6000 pound midsize truck for almost 30 days now and have put over 1000 miles on them. I have tested them on highway, in the rain, off road, in packed snow, and on solid ice from freezing rain. I previously ran the BFG All terrain KO in 285/75-16 load range D. I have been through 3 sets of those with very good results. They KO2's were purchased as a new set of 4 matching tires and installed at a large well known tire retailer. I have tested them at 40 psi, and 38 psi. My opinion of the new BFG All Terrain KO2 tires compared to the original BFG All Terrain KO tires: The good; The KO2's; Had better off road traction on a dirt hill climb. Have as good or better traction in packed dry snow (20 degrees or less). Have about the same traction on solid ice (under 20 degrees). Are tougher abrasion wise, especially the sidewalls, tested that in volcanic rock. Have about the same road noise only on Smooth pavement. Seem to clean out rocks better. Seem to do better in the rain. Sidewall appearance is better. The bad; The KO2's Ride rougher over course pavement, bumps, and on dirt roads, meaning harsh, or jarring. Are noticeably louder on rough or course aggregate pavement, bumps, and dirt roads. Track poorly in ruts or along edges in pavement; this was very noticeable on rutted asphalt, on dirt trails, and on packed snow when changing lanes. Pick up and throw larger rocks then the original KO's did due to wider tread spacing. Required more weight to balance than the KO's. I think that the original KO's in load range D are a noticeably better highway tire because they had a better ride quality. They were quieter over rough pavement and softer riding over bumps and dirt roads, and they also tracked better in ruts. Not sure if this is because the new KO2's are E rated, or because of the tread design, or from the new compound. I rated them as good because I think that they would be a good tire in certain applications, like on heavier vehicles, or in the desert.

I purchased my first set 11/21 and got about 35k miles out of them, which is about average for me. I've tried Michelin LTX M/S and they I slid around in the rain, but got about 42k miles out of them. I've tried GY, Yokohama and Bridgestone as well and the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2 worked all around the best but they stopped making that design and went to the Revo 3 and not as good. But I know I'll never get the 55k miles out of the BFG as they state on the limited treadwear warranty but they stick to the ground even when driving. The handling is great and they wear evenly. The sidewalls are more stout which is good for the off-roading and rubbing against curbs. I have not seen any of the sidewall cracking that others have complained of and I know what they are talking about after being in the Tire Business for the last 40 years. I've seen more that most have imagined. I just purchased my 2nd set last week. I drive a 2005 Chevy Silverado 4 WD and have 449k miles on it, so I'll keep buying the these BFG's till someone can convince me to change.

Recently slapped on some new BFGoodrich T/A KO2 on my 2005 Chevy Siverado 2500 HD Pick Up Truck and boy does it ride nice and looks super sharp. The tires make the truck stand out like a beast with in a pack of other trucks. Proud to be part of the BFG Family.

I bought my truck 2 months ago from a GM dealership and it came with these brand new tires already installed. I have driven the vehicle less the 7000 km and now GM technician tells me that the tires need to be rotated every 5000 km. This is why my my truck now has a vibration that is felt throughout the truck. No alignment, suspension or u joint issues found. But the tech did make note that he noticed the tires are starting to get choppy. I wont be buying these tires or recommending them to any body. Also I live in Ontario Canada. Ran these on our Chevy Tahoe. Here are my disclaimers. 1) I buy my tires where rotation and balancing is free. 2) I rotate and balance the tires every 3500-5000 miles depending on how they appear to be wearing on the front. 3) I keep the air pressure at the optimal setting for the Tahoe and 5) I can tell when my vehicles need alignment and do so as soon as I see the alignment is out of spec. I've run BFG A/T's on most of our 4x4's since the early 90's. The last set we wore out ran 117,000 miles and our tire dealer said they had, at least, another 10,000 miles of tread on them, that was on our 2002 Chevy Tahoe. That is the longest I've made a set last. Most of the time, depending on the vehicle, my F-150 I only get about 70,000 miles out of a set. The F-150 wears the front outer edges faster than out Chevys. These tires are a very good balance of on road and off road compromises. They are okay in mud but you must spin them up a bit higher to clean out the tread. They are exceptionally good in snow and very good in icy, slush mix we have up in northern Ohio. When I lived in California, I found they were pretty good on sand and loose dirt. Overall, I would rate them one of the best tires Ive owned over the past 40 years. I personally don't like the look of the new sidewall design but the current tire is a bit better than the last generation so I can live with the design. I'm sure in another 4-5 years BFG will update the tire again. I've never had a BFG AT fail due to the manufacturing process. I have punched a hole through the sidewalk on a construction site and I have put a few nails through them over the years.

Bought these last spring and love the look of them! Quiet on the highway and did not see a noticeable difference in gas mileage. Had a record snow for this date in Minnesota and they worked awesome. Much better traction than the OEM tires I had on my ‘16 4Runner.
