Love Scallops!

These scallops had a really bad smell. Scallops should not smell like this! They should have a sweet earthy smell! Threw them out... Will not purchase again!

When you get black garlic use it. It’s amazing in sourdough bread (thanks Tammy Jones for the inspiration) the added cheddar jack cheese and garden rosemary did the trick. 

Then the ideas started. Black garlic🤔

Sesame oil and miso seared scallops in a hot cast iron pan topped with black garlic sesame seeds, tamari and hoisin for some sweetness. 

Some hot chili infused canola oil added a nice kick.
