I bought these scallops in hopes they would not be frozen in water. They were not and when thawed according to the package directions, they were so good. I patted them dry, lightly dusted them in flour, then fried over low heat in garlic butter. Delicious!

When you get black garlic use it. It’s amazing in sourdough bread (thanks Tammy Jones for the inspiration) the added cheddar jack cheese and garden rosemary did the trick. Then the ideas started. Black garlic🤔 Sesame oil and miso seared scallops in a hot cast iron pan topped with black garlic sesame seeds, tamari and hoisin for some sweetness. Some hot chili infused canola oil added a nice kick.

These scallops smelled SO bad when I got them home that I stuck them in freezer anyway. It stunk up my whole freezer so I decided they probably weren't fit for eating. After thinking about it I called and they told me to toss them and bring copy of receipt to store and they will refund the $'s. I've bought lobster, scallops and fish for years but never had anything smell this bad. Sorry, just the truth.

What happened? Sams used to offer Japanese Hokkaido scallops (considered the best in the world ) for a FEW DOLLARS LESS than these North American ones. Can we not get Japanese anymore because of tariffs or why? I mean, these are OK, but not as tasty and more expensive. How come?

Excellent taste!! We sauteed scallops with butter, rosemary and old bay in our cast iron pan and constantly spooned buttered ingredients over & over the scallops. Yummy 😋

Absolute love! We buy these regularly to make seafood pastas and boils. They steam beautifully when thawed properly. Concerned that I'm no longer finding them in store nor showing as available at any other stores in my area. Please bring this item back!

Man these scallops are BIG, SUCCULENT and highly tasty!! I strongly recommend this and hope you all get a chance to try them too!!

I thaw a few, warm up some butter in a frying pan, and fry them to a golden brown on two sides. I need to get more of these.

I usually purchase a larger bag of scallops for the same price as this smaller size, which is now the same price as these. The larger size was not available. This is not a good price per value. The scallops were just OK.

Picked a bag of these up for a special Valentines dinner. My first attempt of bacon wrapped scallops was ok, unfortunately I over cooked mine. But... I only used 1/2 the bag so I am going to try again :-) Great value for your money !
