[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased The Ninja Single Serve Specialty Coffee Maker about two weeks ago and it makes great coffee drinks. I usually purchase a lot of specialty coffee drinks from our local shop, now I can make them right at home.

I purchased thos a few months ago and first i was happy with it. Have 3 adults that drink coffee throughout the day. Wasnt wanting to go back to keurig as they go out in about a year. I used the reusable coffee pods but would leak with each use around the top near the frother. So have been using the basket. The issue is due to the water reservoir being in the back you, or i do anyway, push the coffee maker back on my counter. When you do this the excess coffee comes out of spicket and will burn the crap out of your hand. I have burnt myself 3 times and had welps. Because of this i do not recommend.

I just need to make enough coffee at home to fill my tumbler that I take with me in the morning. This new design prevents the waste of making a full pot and the wife appreciates the slim design (less counter space). As I am usually a basic black coffee drinker, I have not used the frother yet.

First of all, this brewer is replacing my Keurig Iced maker, and I was disappointed to learn upon unboxing it that they were not the same size but this was significantly longer, which caused a bit of an issue as it does not fit in the same place as my last brewer did. I also found the power cord short, which isn’t a problem on countertops but as this is next to my desk caused another issue. Finally, I also found the brewing chamber difficult to open, and a few times I’ve been afraid of causing damage to the product by opening it. Now to what I did like. I found the build quality very high and the product felt significantly heavier than my last brewer. Finally, the reason I’m giving this product a four star review regardless of my issues with it. This is by far the best cup of coffee I’ve gotten out of a pod-style brewer. I home brew a lot of different styles of drip coffee as well as regularly pull espresso, and this is the first cup of coffee from a pod I think even holds a candle in quality, flavor, and mouthfeel. Out of curiosity I made a comparison cup in my other machine, and using the same settings the cup tasted vegetal, which in my experience means that this machine has much more accurate brewing temperatures and methodologies internally, making for a much better end product. If you want to have the best coffee out of a pod style brewer and you don’t mind a few potential frustrations, I would absolutely recommend this product.

I love the fact that it has options for pods or ground coffee. Not only that but there’s a storage for either one located in a tucked away spot on the bottom. The storage for water makes it so simple to just throw a cup under and brew! The design is so sleek and elegant looking. There’s so many features, like size of the cup you want, the style, and cleaning mode. It literally takes seconds to figure out how to work it & it works perfectly every time. Last but not least is the frother. This design is so easy to use and it pushes right up against the maker for easy storage when you’re not using it. Everyone needs to own one of these!!

I love that it works with both k-cup pods as well as ground coffee and comes with four different brew styles such as classic, rich, ice over, and one for specialty drinks. I’m one who likes switching up my coffee from hot lattes to iced coffee and frappes which makes this machine perfect especially with its built in-frother. Another great thing is that it brews a variety of sizes depending on it being ground version k cup option and with ground coffee even brews up to 24oz for those days I need a little throughout the day perk while doing errands. Highly recommend.

We've owned our Ninja coffee maker for almost a month now and absolutely love it, it brews the pods we use AND the grounds perfectly every time. Do not have any issues with grounds brewing into the coffee pot. We purchased this system after our 3rd Keurig in less than a year quit working. Here's hoping that this system will last longer but so far this thing is the new gold standard!

It is an excellent coffee machine that is perfect for those who love to have their coffee brewed from either grounds or pods. This coffee maker is very versatile with a sleek design that fits perfectly on my kitchen countertop alongside my other appliances. I am personally a fan of coffee from grounds, while my husband prefers the convenience of pods. The delayed brew (to allow for all the grounds to saturate) makes for an excellent cup of coffee. The brew was strong and fresh. As someone who doesn’t have space or finances to purchase an espresso machine, I am a huge fan of the specialty coffee brew feature. I think this brew is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a coffeehouse cup at my home. The added built-in frother – which folds to the machine for compact storage – really allows me to have a high-quality drink in the morning. One of my favorite features of this coffee maker is the water reservoir's large capacity, which allows me a few mornings before I have to refill. I also really like the ability to change the height of the cup holder. I think this really helps to limit the amount of splash that gets on my countertop. The storage for the pod/brew basket is convenient, and it's easy to switch between brewing methods, whether it be grounds or pods. I also love the built in storage for the coffee scoop.
