I cannot believe that this pie has 4.5 stars. Have all these other people never have a decent key lime pie? I was unable to identify any key lime flavor. It most resembled an artificial lemon flavored dessert from a low price buffet. It is gooey, heavy, overly sweet, and it had way too much crust, although the filling was so unappealing, it's kind of good that there was too much crust. The unidentifiably artificial and unpleasant. Also, if you are ordering this online, as I was, and are used to the pies from another membership store, this is just a regular sized pie, not the extra large (delicious) kind you might expect. Purchased as a birthday treat, and disappointing to the point of embarrassing. Literally sprinkled regular lime juice on top of it to try to get some citrus flavor added.

The people on here who rated this keylime pie a 1 star..listen up. you loose 1% of your taste buds each year. So if your 70, you have lost 70% of your taste buds, its a known fact look it up.Or where ever you had it last.. maybe thats why you rated it a 1.lol. This is THE BEST KEY LIME PIE I've had in a decade. The crust is awesome a rich dark graham crumb. You can MAKE this for the price. IT is awesome pie. Publix or anywhere else doesnt even come close to this. You get twice as much for 2 times less than other stores. 5Stars from me for sure. And I'm a 5star chef!

I got this pie with my last order and the only negative thing I have to say about it is that creme swirls on the sides should be made with a slightly smaller pastry tip, but then again that's just my personal preference, otherwise the taste and flavor are excellent.

I hope they'll have it around for a very long time. Going to be great, especially in the summer if they have it. The key lime pie is sweet, but the graham cracker type bottom and whipped cream topping offset it very well. The whipped cream topping is surprisingly good and I was impressed by it. Not what I was expecting. It's creamy, velvety, thick and fresh. You get enough on every slice to spead it over the rest of the slice to make that perfect bite every time. I regret not trying it sooner, but at the same time, it's probably a good thing. It's going to take a little self control to walk past it and not buy it.

Purchased for neighborhood party. Many of us love key lime pie and this did NOT disappoint. It was a great balance of key lime filling, amazing crust all complemented by the whip topping. A nice combination of refreshing and indulgent! I will definitely buy again.

This is the 3rd year we have waited impatiently for Sam's Key Lime Pies to arrive. I have a neighbor who has been mowing my yard, I try to get him a pie every Year. He's like me and declares hands off to any would pie snatches that drop by. Great price for a great pie.

I use these pies to cut up to make my homemade key lime pie ice cream for my ice cream shop. It's delicious and customers love it. I do add some key lime juice to the ice cream base to give the finished product a little more key lime flavor but this pie is the best I've used for my ice cream.

The last few pies we purchased in 2024 were excellent. The pie we purchased 03/2025 seemed larger, the crust was thicker and the pie had zero key lime taste. I am hoping this is not a new recipe as we will try again in a few months and hope that this was just a one time fluke. If this is not the case we will not purchase the pie and I will go back to making my own recipe.

The crust is very buttery and the lime filling is very creamy and a bit less tart than I'm used to. I like both of those points. But the whipped topping is basically the same thing as Cool Whip, a gross fake whipped "cream". I scrape that part off. If they used a real cream-based topping, it would be 5 stars.

The pie was super delicious but the crust was ridiculously crumbly. Each time we raised the fork for a bite, you could hear the crust raining down onto the plate. The mess it made was rather disappointing. I would buy again in hopes that this was a fluke.
