The flavor of this pie was very artificial to the point that it tasted like plastic. I bought these pies a few years ago but then they were not available for a long time. Sam's made a big deal that the Key Lime pie was back, so I gave it try. Not only was the flavor off but the crust was a little soggy to the point that I could not serve up a slice without it just falling apart. I'm guessing they found another supplier. My wife and I both had the same comments so I returned the remaining 3/4 of the pie for a refund.

My entire family loves the key lime pie so much that we randomly go to sams just to see if it’s available. Based on the last couple years, it’s only available the few weeks leading up to July 4 but we were pleasantly surprised to get one in September! We’re hoping to successfully freeze a few to hold us over until next July.

3 Stars. it is edible but not the best.But for the price , I won't complain too much. it needed more lime flavor it needed to be more light and fluffy, like a pie, especially key, lime pie But it's more like a pudding texture, very thick. The crust is fine But the Whipped cream topping that is more like icing, is way too sweet and way too much like icing.So I scraped that off , I hope this helps

I have been to Sam's several times for other items, all the while, looking for the famous Key Lime Pie. I finally found one!!! This pie is so dang tasty. I concur with the stellar reviews by the masses of Sam's Club. this pie is on my list for next time. Thank you for your suggestion everyone!!!
