Abbyson Customer Service is horrible!

I bought 2 of these sofas for our basement entertainment area. I love that they are so functional and look nice BUT they shipped the wrong end pieces to the sofas. I notified Abbyson about the mistake in JULY and I have yet to receive the right end pieces to put the sofa together properly. I currently have 2x4's supporting the ends of the couch in order for it to work half way decent. I email and call almost every week and every time they say the parts are in their warehouse and waiting for shipment to me... it's been 5 months of complete misery with my 2 couches. So, if you don't mind spending $800 on a couch that you can't properly use for 6 months, by all means purchase it but I would suggest to keep looking at other vendors.

okay for awhile

We’ve had this couch for at least 2 years. The chaise part is still in excellent condition but the rest has become complete crap. You can feel the springs sticking up, (literally only a piece of fabric between it and you) and the ottoman is difficult to get back in sometimes. I liked this couch at first but it’s so disappointing at this point and I can’t wait to get rid of it!

Do not purchase

I am unable to connect both couch arms correctly brackets on one arm will not slide on properly. The pull out is also broken to where it slides off track when pulling out on one side. Reading reviews that came out after my purchase seems lots of others are having same issue. I tried contacting customer service but I have yet to get a response from anyone.

Only lasted a month

Bought this about a month ago for my kids play room. Had it open so they could lay on it. When we were laying around, my 3yr old walked over me to sit and it snapped the support beam. Couch is crap. Wish I would have bought the warranty so I could get it fixed. Wasted money. Would not recommend

Pull out collapses

I purchased this couch in Nov 2020 and it didn't arrive until Dec 2020. The pullout couch/bed portion collapses. I completed all the necessary measures to get this fixed and noticed it had a 1 year warranty from Abbyson. Abbyson had a technician come out and confirm that the couch was in fact broken. Its now Jan 2020 and we still don't have a couch that works. I have had horrible communication with both Abbyson and Sams Club regarding follow up. I also feel like my warranty should start over once I get a couch that works. I also want to remind you that this is how the couch came and that no harm was done for this to have happened. I have been very disappointed.

Assembly issues and not very comfortable

The couch looks nice, but the overall experience wasn't great. The cushions are on the firmer side and not very comfortable for long sitting. On top of that, the arm wouldn't attach because the manufacturer installed the hardware incorrectly — both brackets were on the wrong sides. I had to remove and swap the male and female brackets myself just to get it to lock together. It works now, but the quality control and comfort leave a lot to be desired.

Nightmare Experience

What a nightmare experience! We were so excited about getting this sofa while we were furniture shopping at such a great price! The delivery company is AWFUL! We scheduled 3 weeks ahead of time for delivery since the window was 8a-8p, we knew someone would be home. They never showed up so at 6pm I called for an update. The response was “it actually never got loaded on the truck for today's deliveries” So I asked for reschedule for the 2nd since we would be out of town, the gentleman said “no problem” now I've gotten a text saying we're rescheduled for 12/26 and no one will be home to receive it. If you'd like to actually get your sofa, don't go with this one.

Uncomfortable, stay away

I am so sorry - I thought the bad reviews were all about shipping damage and poor customer service, but when I say that this is the least comfortable thing I have ever sat on, please believe me. My back hurts, my butt fell asleep, and I added so many pillows but still could not make this thing even remotely comfortable. I'm 5'7" and 165lbs, a very average sized person, and while it was nice that the couch is narrow for my small space, they also cut down the depth of the seat so that a few inches above your knee are unsupported unless you're sitting straight up. You cannot lounge on this couch. It might be good for a kids play room? Overall the construction seemed solid, it assembled easily, and it looked great in my room, but I had to return it. Sitting on the ground is preferable to sitting on this thing.
