[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has been beneficial too me to keep my weight up after i had all my teeth removed and i hope it continues to sustain me because i can't afford dentures and will have to be on Ensure for the rest of my life. It is very tasty and i love it when it is very cold. I just wished I could get help from an organization because I live on a fix income and it is expensive since i have to drink at least five bottles a day.

I drank Ensure dark chocolate protein shake a few days ago and became immediately sick. I had drank it before with some effect but this took the cake. I was at work and after drinking this ensure product, my face/chest became red, my abdomen growled loudly, then terrible gassy diarrhea and nausea. I thought I'd have to call 911. I felt like I was going to throw up all over my car, but thankfully didn't. I left work and sat on my porch for awhile. I felt better with each passing hour. I believe I had expelled the product immediately after drinking it - due to the extreme diarrhea. I am very traumatized by this and will never drink it again!

I feel this product does what it says it should do--gives me energy and has a lot of protein to boot. Just wish it was a bit cheaper for the aged.

So I thought I would try some since I am so thin and only eat tv dinners since Ron was the cook for 11 years. I look terrible since I was thin to begin with. The nurses would give her an Ensure. She would drink it with a straw that the nurses would hold to her mouth and when I was there I would do it. She always seemed to enjoy it, so I tasted it once and it was good. So naturally when I choose it.
