got it for Christmas after rocking a seeies s for about 4 years, and holy crap there is a HUGE difference. the storage was the first thing i noticed. almost a terabyte of storage is a HUGE upgrade of the sad series s 364 gigs. games already run better, faster etc. on top of that, the dedicated disc slot is amazing for when i want to play an old 360 game I or to watch a film that's not on streaming. Im very happy with this product.

I havent opened it yet as its a Christmas gift, but we were pleasantly surprised that it was delivered today (Christmas Eve) as it was expected on January 13th! Like everyone else, I have been online everyday since the release date trying to purchase one and happened to get lucky on December 18th during the timeframe for purchase to score one.

Right off the bat I’ve had game systems over the last 20 years from the big 3 that are still around today to the other smaller companies that shut down or went to making just video games. Point I’m making is that of the newest generation of consoles the Xbox Series X performs well and has great titles you can play on it. Specifically the Series X however has the functions of a blu ray disc driver so if you’re like me and love to still buy physical media like movies and games you get a good bang for the buck. Native 4K is a given and playing games can be buttery smooth. The rival console in itself is a good one no doubt but the Xbox Series X takes the win in my opinion for the newest generation. The Ultimate game pass also is just the cherry on top with being able to download over a dozen new games, a lot of indie games thrown in there to fluff the number up but hey it’s free to download and play, and the ability to also play on PC because of the Ultimate game pass membership. Do yourself a favor and future proof the next 5-8 years and grab this, it’ll make a great media room piece, game system, or piece to add to the collection. There’s your 3 reasons.

Excellent as advertised. Bring on the games XBox! As an FYI for those that didn’t get one. In regards to the Christmas Eve sale: I kept trying to buy one through all the glitchy in your basket, not in your basket, sold out, credit card info missing, oops screens. It wasn’t until 22 minutes after the sale started that I actually got one. What I’m saying is be persistent. I could have gave up one minute in but I kept on trying.

Ordered this on March 18 and wasn’t supposed to get here until April 9 but came almost a week early! Very pleased. The console is an absolute beast. Load times are almost nothing and cannot wait for more high resolution games. Happy I bought from Walmart after all. Well done.

Xbox series x is amazing.. was delivered to me from Walmart earlier than expected. You can truly feel the power of the 9th gen. FedEx driver even called me on the phone to make sure I com out and get my xbox safely from him so know one would steal it.. happy to have this console.!!!

anyone that is complaining that the only upgrade is loading times, must not have the correct tv to maximize the performance. don't be fooled, this thing is a beast. make sure you have a tv with the capability to utilize all the features this machine offers. granted, no real games made specifically for it, it still takes the old games and makes them run so much smoother and definitely and upgrade in the graphics and load times. I can not be more clearer, you need to have a tv/monitor that allows you to maximize this console, otherwise, I wouldn't bother, unless you're just looking to get faster load times.

Honestly so far it’s been great. Don’t let people tell you it’s trash cause in reality, it’s truly not. It’s been a blast so far and I couldn’t be happier tbh. It’s a great system and has been doing good for me since picking it up. I don’t have any regrets buying this system. 10/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it works great and I have not had any problems which I’m very happy about. I’m happy with the price because generally it is more expensive at other stores and the item was put on sale which made it even cheaper for me.

Ok so the launch of the series x was putrid if I say the least but to be completely honest the consoles extremely fast ssd and amazing graphics plus 4K resolution support is mind blowing especially coming from a 500 dollar console. The reason the launch was a so bad was because they did not expect as much people buying their products then they did which happens every single console launch. The full backwards compatibility support for Xbox one games is absolutely amazing and most games get remastered for better graphics due to the series x having extremely better hardware. The console also supports Xbox 360 and original Xbox titles via backwards compatibility. Also Xbox game pass is the best deal in gaming and gives you hundreds of games. The series x also also has a super fast SSD which makes loading times way faster to even non existent and also smart delivery which lets you go between one game to the other without closing any of the software. This console is completely worth it even with its horrible launch.
