I wanted to be a part of the next generation console community and I took the leap. I have been nothing but pleased as the console runs beautifully and its 4K blu ray drive has been running my 4K discs without any skips, pauses, or general malfunctions that accompany the regular 4K player. Games are exceptionally gorgeous and a joy to see and play. The Xbox X will continue to thrill and outdo its competition.

This series X is a fantastic upgrade from my original XboxOne. I don't get a new console every time they're released so this has been a great upgrade in every way. It's super fast even with the graphics at top notch. I paired it with an LG BX55 OLED (2020). I love how nice everything looks at 4k and 120 Hz. The only downside is the size and dimensions of the enclosure. It's too big in any orientation to fit in my entertainment center with my XboxOne and stereo amplifier. So it's up on top a self. Oh well. Not much I can do about that.

A stronger version of the Xbox one so if you decide to play older 360 games or X1 games on this console, the games will run better than ever. The interface/home menu island controller are the same as the Xbox one, btw. But the controller is perfect the way it is. It’s not loud at all and has a simple design and really easy to navigate.

Admittedly, I’ve always favored PlayStation, but I absolutely loved my Xbox One X of the previous generation. Easily one of my all-time favorite consoles (and I’ve been gaming for about 35 years). So, it was hard for me to sell it in order to soften the blow of a $500 price tag with the Series X. With that said, I can say the Series X has not disappointed me in the slightest. Granted, there may not be any must-have Xbox exclusives at this moment, but this console gives whatever title you throw at it a significant shot in the arm. The faster load times and frame rates are noticeable, and everything just looks crisper. Love the subtle changes to the controller and how it feels in my hands. Can’t wait to see what this beast can really do in a year or two.

Running it on a 4K tv at 60 FPS. And I thought when I bought it that maybe it wouldn’t be worth it since I was quite happy with my Xbox One X. WOW! This runs circles around it. SO fast, quiet and buttery smooth with excellent graphics. Couldn’t be happier with it!

Series X is everything I was expecting which is both good and bad. The performance gains over the Xbox One X are amazing. Load times are super quick (although not "instant" the way some of the hype made them out to be...possibly because I've spent the most time playing older games that haven't been fully optimized). As with any new system I'm sure there will be steady improvement as game developers continually learn to take advantage of the system's full potential however I took a star off because, aside from the performance gains, the overall experience is nearly identical to the Xbox One X. I understand that this is Microsoft's strategy, joining PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, in a single user experience, but it does take away a bit from the excitement of "next gen" hardware, and feels like we're missing out with no "exclusive" titles for Series X. Faster load times, smoother frame rates and 'enhanced' graphics are wonderful, but it's just not the same as having 'exclusive' titles and feels like everything suffers a bit because games are developed to work with the lowest common denominator. That leaves you feeling like you may not be getting your money's worth by investing in the 'next gen' hardware. But given that folks are spending four figures on GPU's to experience bleeding edge performance from their PCs, the Series X is a user friendly alternative.

This thing is absolutely flipping amazing compared to my year one xb one. Graffics are outstanding and the quick resume for up to 5 games rocks. Load times are virtually gone compared to the xbox one. Took Wal-Mart almost a month to get it to me that's the only reason for the 4 stars but totally worth the struggle of finding it in stock.

Works perfectly, 10/10, I've had LITERALLY no problems so far and getting all the Xbox X edition graphics and settings in these new triple A games is AMAZING!! (especially considering we upgraded from our AT LEAST 7 year old xbox one that was running on it's last legs) but definitely worth the money, especially if you have a bunch of games on disc still and want to play them, now that doesn't mean every game is optimized for the xbox, so don't blame the xbox, blame the game if it starts getting buggy in game!! overall preeetty good christmas gift.

Walmart came through! Ordered on 15 of December and wasn't expecting it to arrive before Christmas. Well it arrived on Christmas eve! Thank you Walmart for coming through in the clutch. XBox arrived in new condition. Only gripe is the shipper FedEx left it on the porch without even knocking. On top of that it was meant to be signed on delivery. Good thing someone was home to grab it because these things are at high risk of thievery.

A clean simple design with powerful internals and an improved controller make for a good time. While there aren't any launch exclusives there are plenty of games to play with backwards compatibility and game pass. The console is super quiet and does not get very hot. It is faster than ever with the high-speed SSD which makes load times almost non-existent. The UI does a good job at getting you back in games fast but it might be a bit hard to navigate for new users. I've had a great time with this Xbox and can easily recommend it to anyone debating whether to get it or not.
