Basic setup was easy, although you will have to go into the sub menus if you want to enable the highest settings, like 120 frames per second and the variable refresh rate. (The same goes for your television. The high performance mode needs to be turned on manually.) I have only tried a couple of games so far. Other than the much longer download times, everything else about the game play looks better and runs more smoothly. The instant resume function is nice as well. The console remembers exactly where you left off in your game and loads immediately. Now I just need an upgraded sound system with the latest Dolby standards to make the experience complete!

Game pass premium is what makes this console stay alive. I own both ps5 and Xbox series x, and this console pales in front of the Sony counterpart. This controller sucks so much with its unbearable tick sound like a cheap piece of toy I had to literally open the controller up to apply some rubber bands on every button I order to at least decrease the cheap click sound from its buttons. Don't buy it if you don't have a subscription to game pass premium, since it's the good part of the Xbox universe where you get to play just-realased games on day one because of the subscription. This beats the Sony console'S subscription. The UI interface also pales and is disorganized compared to Sony's. Controllers are such a big part of the immersion and this consoles fails making you think you are holding a piece of cheap plastic toy. Sony's controller is a breakthrough in technology that stands unbeatable

The box the system came in was slightly damaged in the corner. The system works and my grandson is very happy. He says it is amazing. He was pleased because he did not have to buy new games to play. He could use the games he already has on his xbox s series.

I’m not impressed, after 5 months I’m giving my review. My biggest disappointment is the controllers both have issues. The first issue started early on with the trigger pads losing the cushioning on both controllers. My major disappointment is the lack of quality games. I’m stuck playing 10 year old titles like gta 5 only because there really isn’t any good games and game pass games are more like mobile games . Or just the lack of any quality games same as games not on game pass . Subscription to game pass is required to play online mode which is a rip off . Other consoles and pc are not supported to play with on almost every game .

why is this so hard to obtain! why do you big corporations want to put limits on these. you put a out of this world price tag on it anyway. the console probably cost $10.00 to manufacture. your making over 500% on it because you know we will purchase it anyway. then you want to withhold the units. you should be ashamed!! Does anyòne have any MORALS??!

If you get a system that doesn't work you don't send it to Microsoft to fix or get a refurbished one in its place, you return it and get your money refunded. Why would you try and get it fixed and not just wait, since you realize the first one was a mess up. Also make them give you something extra for the mess up.

I'd probably say ita a four stars once I get one. I had one in my Kart and then went to check out and says out of stock. That's stupid. If you have an item in your kart then proceed to pay then it should be yours. Kinda upset but can't wait until I get one

Very misleading..Double check what you are buying..way over priced. My wife bought a new Xbox Series X which said it came with 24 months of game pass ultimate but when she received it, it was just the Xbox no 24 months of games pass ultimate membership.

Best game system you could buy on the market. With just the downside of the controllers being batteries, however you can switch them out for the chargeable ones. Other then that the system itself is fast and smooth. Pair it with a OLED Tv and now we are talking. Would highly recommend it to anyone who doesn’t already have it.

Returned last week and purchased a PlayStation 5. Can’t believe I used to stick up for the Xbox systems over PlayStation. If you haven’t gotten a chance to pick up your next generation system, spend the extra 100$ and make the right choice. I’ll never look back to Microsoft’s Xbox systems again.
