As an active gold prospector, I get into some thick brush in the backwoods of Montana. I recently took the E55 with me to a creek side claim that is a favorite hangout for half of the world's mosquito population. Now one would think the free range cattle in the area are enough to keep the bloodsuckers full and happy, but nope, humans are apparently a special kind of treat. After about 20 minutes of the unit running I noticed there was a distinct 'safe zone' free of mosquitos. I believe the only bite I got was when I first arrived to the gold claim. The E55 unit exceeded all expectations. 2 thumbs up, and a high 5 to whomever designed it, it is now a permanent addition to my mining kit.

Bought this last week and I can't believe I can now sit on my porch and NOT be the buffet for the mosquitoes!! I LOVE this little machine. We've tried different things over the years but they only seemed to attract flies and moths. :/ I paid full price but it was well worth it.

I tried the Thermacell Mosquito Repellent, and I must say I was surprised at how well it works. It is easy to assemble and use. It didn't make a mess like other on skin repellents and it had little to no smell. I didn't get bitten in the 20ft of space advertised, but as soon as I moved away from this "safe zone" I could feel the mosquitos on my legs!

I went on a camping trip in Yosemite National Park this past summer to test this product out. I tested this repellent and it worked better than I had expected. I turned it on and within 15minutes the mosquitoes and flying insects were only hovering on top of me instead of biting me. The unit itself is not too expensive but the refills are a bit pricey. The refills will give you 36hrs of protection against mosquitoes so to me I think it’s worth the price.

This is such a handy device for keeping insects away! It really shines the brightest when there is little to no wind to blow the vaporized repellent away. Other than that, the battery powered aspect of it makes it ideal tossing it in with your gear and taking it to the lake or campground. And being that it's rechargable, I don't have to constantly worry about buying more batteries. Any USB powered port can recharge this unit... and your can even recharge off-grid with a handy power bank. I love how portable & convenient that this device is, and can't suggest it enough to my friends & family!

Took the family on a camping trip and the mosquitos were absolutely horrible! If it wasn't for the Thermacell we would've just packed up and left. After about 20 minutes we noticed no one was being bit up. Bug spray and citronella didn't help anywhere close to the Thermacell. I highly recommend!!

I got this mainly for picnic table use. Where we have property in the woods we have tons of mosquitoes. This e55 worked great to keep these away. While running this and having dinners at the table we did not see a single mosquito. Would definitely purchase other thermacell products

I got this product in the mail to try when I go fishing. It heats up very fast and works great. I was outside with it for about 2 hours and never got bit by a mosquito. I live in a woodsy area so we have a lot of mosquitoes but with this product it was like there was no mosquitoes.

This sample i receive is what i need around the house. Dont take long to charge and when turning on and has a jingle one the high side to let you know it on and turning it off it jingle on a lower sound letting you know it turning off. It doesnt put off any smells and it keeps the pest away. Now i do notice if the some wind while using the device it doesnt work as well but on a calm day it works great.

I recently had an opportunity to put this product to a serious test, and I'm impressed. I'd charged my Thermacell in preparation for some upcoming yardwork. The weather had other plans however. We were hit in this area by some serious storms today including a few tornadoes that knocked out power for hours. Nearly 12 hours without power in muggy, warm weather kept us wanting to have the doors and windows open once the rain passes, but we were getting hit pretty hard with mosquitoes until I remembered I'd already charged the Thermacell and had a cartridge ready to go. I placed it outside our door on the porch, and it kept us pretty much big free for the remainder of our time without power. I'm so thankful we had this on hand. It's effective, easy to set up and use, and a great little gadget to have on hand. Cannot recommend enough!
