I went on a camping trip in Yosemite National Park this past summer to test this product out. I tested this repellent and it worked better than I had expected. I turned it on and within 15minutes the mosquitoes and flying insects were only hovering on top of me instead of biting me. The unit itself is not too expensive but the refills are a bit pricey. The refills will give you 36hrs of protection against mosquitoes so to me I think it’s worth the price.

I received this for free to test in exchange for an honest review. I'm really happy I got to try this out! I love gardening and just hanging outside on my porch, but we have such bad mosquitos that it's really hard to enjoy the outdoors. Day or night, I get eaten alive. After a full charge, I set this Thermacell repeller out on my porch. I was able to spend several hours doing what I love without seeing a single mosquito in sight and without a single bite! I'm surprised it worked so well. My porch is also really big, so I can definitely confirm the range is very reasonable. Plus, there was no odor nor noise. Just a sleek little decoration that kept me bug-free! I also really enjoy the portability of the repeller. I can take it with me as I move about the yard to other areas and it keeps me safe from the little nasties that want to eat me. And the charge lasts quite a while too! Over 6 hours of use and it still had plenty of charge left. It's nice to be able to just charge and go. Very convenient! And no mess, too. My only concern is that I keep chickens in my backyard, so I don't want to take this within range of them for fear of it having adverse affects on them. But this is no fault of the product, of course. Just something I would be looking for in a product like this since I do spend a lot of time with my chickens, too. All in all, I really enjoyed this repeller. It seems good quality, so I expect it to last a lot of usage.

I bought the rechargeable thermacell for a trip to Guyana South America. Mosquitoes love me and I usually suffer a lot. Needless to say this product did not help! Not to mention that I eventually I ran out of the deet spray. This product was not cheap. Clearly disappointed

I live next door to a pond with lots of trees and bushes around. I love to hang on the back deck throughout the day, but the mosquitos are quite bothersome because of the terrain and foliage. During the summer, I can see them waiting for me outside before I even step through the doorway! Not to mention, the mosquitos we've had are the new varieties - 'Aedes aegypti' and 'Aedes albopictus' which bite throughout the day...so we never get a break from them. At our wits end, we finally broke down and bought the Thermacell rechargable. I couldn't be more pleased! I can finally enjoy my beautiful deck! It works well for us. I've tested it extensively and while I do see an occasional mosquito, it continues flying by without landing on anyone. It always works. When I don't use it, I can tell quickly as mosquitos begin to swarm again. Is it expensive? Yes, absolutely. The price is quite high for the refills and that is the downside to this great product. The refills are quite costly if you have to use this product on a daily basis. But the payoff is the peace of mind that I can sit outside and drink my morning coffee or make Smores in the evening with the kiddos without worrying about West Nile or yellow fever, or at the very least, the welts that don't go away for days. This product is worth it!

I bought this product two weeks ago to use for after tennis match social time. We play outside and the mosquitos are typically out in droves around dusk. The unit kept away the mosquitos and the little gnats that like to annoy us. We were able to gather around the picnic table and socialize without being bothered and bitten.

I received the rechargeable Thermacell a week ago on a try and Review giveaway. It REALLY Works ! As a Florida resident that lives on the water near Mangroves keeping the mosquitoes and no-seeums at bay is a HUGE Issue But Using the Rechargable ThermaCELL is a game changer. So many Good things to say about this product Pros~ Super easy to Use Refill cartridges are quick to put into unit and NO MESSY Sprays. Long lasting too ! The convenience of it being rechargable is also a Great feature. The Only negative I have is the Unit that was sent to use and review ( thank you !) Is round and rolls around quite easily and a flatter unit ( which is an option 🎉)would take care of this problem.

It's always mosquito season all year and all day long in southern California. And we spend a lot of time outdoors and are always getting bitten. We recently put this out on an evening we were outside in the backyard and noticed that none of us were getting big bites. Amazing! We'll always have this around now.

Our back patio design incorporates a small pond that is white smoothing but attracts mosquitoes. The small Thermacell E55 unit keeps the critters at bay. I like it's rechargeable and more importantly the battery charge lasts for multiple days and uses. The 12 hour refill does last about 12 hours. Excellent product. It makes our patio area go from good to great. No more mosquitoes

I purchased this unit in the middle of last summer, and was so impressed! Unfortunately when I brought it out this year, the unit wouldn’t charge. I sent an email to customer service and received a prompt response. Sally was so helpful! As a new father of twins, I totally forgot to respond to and email. I received a reminder email to send in pictures and my address so they could send a replacement! Thank you Sally and team, it’s this kind of service that will have me continue to rave and recommend your product!

We live in a southern climate and the mosquitoes are terrible. This product is absolutely fantastic at helping to keep them pesty bugs away while we enjoy our family outside time. The only downfall is I wish the battery life was longer. I definitely recommend to anyone who loves spending time outdoors.
