I've been buying Old Wisconsin Turkey sticks for years so I was excited to compare. The Jack Links were almost as good but the consistently was a little too soft in my opinion. The flavor wasvreally good though and I loved the individual wrapping for the ease to pack in lunches too.

I was a little surprised at how small each stick was. They would be good for a young kid, but anyone over 6 would want two. Flavor is good, not too strong. The outside is similar to other meat sticks. The inside texture is pretty soft. People who like non-beef products will not be disappointed.

It isn’t as spicy as most Jack Link’s products and, according to the ingredients list, has no pork. The flavor is good and reminds me of the “Italian Seasoning” blend you can find in the spices aisle in most stores. My wife and daughter have found their new favorite high protein snack!

When I opened it you can smell the herbs and spices, it smells amazing! The outside of the turkey stick has a good snap to it, and the inside meat is really soft not like beef sticks. With that they are not as filling as a beef stick, you don’t feel satisfied after eating one, the flavor is there and I love that it is soft but the satisfaction of eating something isn’t there for me, I wish they were a little bigger for that reason. Other than that they are delicious and highly recommended!

So our whole family tried these, and I actually really like them! However, the rest of the family did not. They are very rosemary forward, it’s the prominent flavor, followed by garlic and not much turkey flavor (subtle but it’s there). I could see how many might think it’s too overpowered with that floral, rosemary taste. The texture is what you would expect, slick and shiny on the outside but softer on the inside and has a snap to it. Overall I like these as a healthier alternative to regular beef sticks. I would recommend trying them!
