If you've only used the canned or bottled parmesan cheese (Americanized version), you have no idea what real Parmiggiano Reggiano is. The difference in flavor is unbelievable. Yes, you have to grate it yourself but it's SO worth the trouble. This makes the best Alfredo sauce there is. Also great for sprinkling over spaghetti sauce, or for making pizza or Lasagna.

It tastes terrible. I threw it in the garbage after one bite. I do not recommend this product.
