These are excellent rolls, I bought these to use with Sonoran Hot Dogs which needs a solid roll to hold all the fillings, these rolls did not disappoint!!! I would definitely recommend and purchase these rolls again!

I love these for home made hoagies, meatball sandwiches etc. On day three (after buying them) when to open the package for lunch and thought I saw a spot, sure enough "mold" ... So throw that one out, then inspect the next one, mold, and the next, and the next.

These rolls are becoming smaller and smaller. Yes they are still 6 inches, but not nearly as wide and raised as a few years ago. I deliberately went to a different club since the ones there were larger than my regular club, but they are now smaller at the other club as well. My opinion is that the proof time has been shortened.

This roll would have been just what I needed had it just been big enough. It was fresh and tasted great. I wanted to use it for a Thanksgiving sandwich, but even for a regular sandwich it wasn’t deep enough. The ingredients of the sandwich hang out way too much.

There is something about these rolls and the nice chew that they have. That's the best word I can use to explain it. They are perfect to make subs, beef dip, Philly beef and Swiss.....or almost any other sandwich. I bake much of our bread but I can't seem to make anything close to these.

Great for a small sub. The outside is not too hard, and the inside is nice and chewy. I wish they would make this in a whole wheat version like they used to do in the full size sub rolls. I wish they would bring back the wheat sub rolls they had better flavor.

These are really awesome hoagie buns. So delicious with everything you want in a roll. My wife is a consummate bread baker, but, when the need arises for a great bun, this is our go to. Whether it's chicken salad, Philly cheesesteak, or a grand, old-fashioned submarine sandwich piled high with all of the fixings, this bun is the way to go. It has just enough of a leathery exterior and a perfectly delightful interior as well as a great flavor that neither overpowers nor gets lost in the ingredients. And if you put them in the air fryer or toaster oven? They are more than worthy of however much $5/lb butter you want to slather on. Add some homemade jelly and you have a crunchy, chewy feast that will have you going to church. Just yesterday we decided to pair these toasted beauties with grilled hot dogs. (with all the black marks of course!) Never crossed my mind before, but it was a complete success elevating Nathan's best dog to a new high. Sure, I know this is a lot of over the top for a bun, but this is a really terrific bun, baked fresh, and the good folks at Sam's are thoughtful enough to price them where anyone can afford them without calling your banker or feeling like you cheated the family out of something else. Pro tip: keep out what you will use in a couple days and freeze the rest. The air fryer or oven will bring them back to better than new.

First off, these are huge rolls and I wasn't expecting that. Half of one is more that enough for me for a sandwich. Plus I thought the bread was a little dense. I prefer something more like sourdough rolls with a lot of air holes in the bread - - just a different texture. However, I needed something for a massive feed of pulled pork sandwiches and these rolls worked out perfectly. In the future I would try one of these rolls before I would buy such a huge bag. For me personally, the taste more or less didn't exist, the roll was just a carrier for the filling and that may be exactly what you are looking for.

I purchased these hoagie rolls to be used for individual sub sandwiches that we were making for our basketball team coaches. I was disappointed to find that the bread was pretty tough, not incredibly flavorful, and hard to cut. I might have been better off purchasing regular sandwich bread to be honest. I purchased these from my local Sam’s Club, they were not expired and had been freshly made so I do not understand why they were so tough and thick. I would like to see a better hoagie roll produced for a sandwich type of use.

Ok, but were a lot better at one time. I got the mini rolls at one time but they got so small I started getting the regular size, but now they are getting smaller. Rolls have a good taste but varies and I just received 11 in the bag the last purches.
