This product, along with mashed or boiled potatoes, fills the bill when a quick and tasty meal is needed.

Meat was not only very salty but looked like it was already chewed up & put back in can. I returned it

I've used one can and hope the other one is better, it resembled left over parts of beef, texture also contibruted to a '2'. I returned two cans because they were damaged before being shipped.

I purchased these cans of roast beef to test them out, and I have to admit, the test worked out. I have made a meal with stir fry vegetables and rice using them, and a beef noodle stew that I made enough to freeze for future meals, heated with gravy to serve as an entrée with veggies and fresh biscuits, and I can say I will be buying more, they're just so convenient, easy to open, and taste good. Dunno why I hesitated.

I am not a big beef eater and the canned version peaked my curiousity. The taste was surprisingly good. Very little fat and meat was tender and easy to shred apart. I used this to mix with macaroni or noodles. I heated the meat in the microwave before mixing with cooked Mac or noodles. It is also good plain mixed with a bit of mayo and chopped onion for a sandwich dpread

This is such a good product, I am not the typical shopper to ever buy such a product, but my husband purchased one trip as a nice option for my Dad that lives with us and we care for. Thinking for nights we are eating just salad or a time I need a quick protein for him. Well I ended up making my stroganoff with it for my Dad so that it would be easier to chew. My husband asked if he could have some, and he loved it, I tried it and couldn’t believe how good it was . Great flavor, and now I always have it on hand so can make some of my dishes last minute for when my grown children come to visit . It’s a staple for our family now . Never would have guessed .

These come in handy for some dishes and saves time cooking. I like to add a can or two to a big batch of mac and cheese. You could add it to just about anything that goes well with beef. It's OK by itself, but it's better when added to something else.

Used this for a quick batch of beef soup. Tender and tasty.
