First time I tried it. Liked it very much, it tastes fresh and delicious.And I made it up for tostadas, easy to make just heat it up in the microwave,Yum.

Very good, the broth may be too salty for some people. The chunks of meat are very tender and intact. (not shredded). The flavor is excellent. I use it for lunches at work. Easy and quick to microwave. I add it to vegetables and sometimes top with parmesan cheese.

I liv buying an alone and I get a craving for roast beef. but I can't justify buying a whole roast that I will probably have to throw away. Especially with the high cost of everything these days. I make a gravy and add potatoes and carrots. I then add the roast beef and this makes 2 meals with no waste.

When a trip to a hamburger joint is $25 for two, it’s nice to put together a pantry meal for less than half of that. The canned roast beef, Pioneer brown gravy mix with egg noodles (or rice, or instant mashed potatoes), a can of green beans and you have a great meal that is not only comfort food but also comforting to the wallet. Best part is not having to change from your house slippers or defrost anything. Usually enough gravy/roast leftover to charge an open-faced sandwich for lunch the next day.

After trying other brands I was skeptical but ended up sold on this brand. Very tasty without adding seasoning. Easy to fix for a quick meal. The meat is very tender. I hope this will be available at Sams agàin. This would be an excellant Members Mark product.

VERY surprised at the quality and flavor. I saw a review of canned meat products on YouTube in which scored Butterfield Farms very favorably. I bought it as backup food for hurricanes. So, to rotate stock, I fixed a beef stew with a few cans. It was actually was quite good. I am sure some would be put off by the initial appearance, but try it is stew, or gravy and mashed potatoes.

The texture of this roast beef is different from other brands that I buy, possibly due to being cut into chunks. Hereford's has a better texture and comes with gravy/sauce. Butterfield's has broth instead of gravy but is rather tasty. Butterfield's is worth trying. I buy it on occasion when I want something different than my regular.

As usual Sams club just crams everything in one box without any packing material. I ordered 2 packs of these and the plastic sleeves broke in transit and 6 of the 8 cans were mangled. I did call and they issued a credit but I wanted the product not the money. Not sure why they don’t take care when packing items for shipment.

It will need some seasoning to bring it up to being good. I bought it for filling the pantry with shelf stable protein and tried a can of it with a salad . It was about the consistency of meat you would find in a can of soup or stew . If you used it maybe in a casserole with veggies and a good sauce , maybe even burgundy wine it probably would be much better.

Unfortunately the cans were packed in huge box without any thing to keep them from bouncing around - the 2 cans on end of package were terribly dented in edges, one leaking - & I tried to make contact & nothing was done - they could not be used nor returned as they were in terrible shape. I told Rep i have photo. Money wasted because some idiot used a huge box with 2 plastic pads filled with air BUT air was deflated I don't know how to include photos with this, not a techie I'm 82 -- won't order stuff again that can be tossed around like football. Shame on packer
