I have never bought beef in a can before, but I have always been happy with Sam's quality. This product proved to be inferior to my expectations. The beef is loosely packed and tasteless, compared to any other beef I have had in recent years. I tried it over mashed potatoes and was disappointed. That is the only way I would consider preparing it, so now I have to see about returning the other 3 cans. I can't remember the last time I gave a bad review on a product from Sam's but I feel I owe it to fellow members.

The 2 stars were for taste. The minus 3 stars was for extremely bent cans sides and bottom, and only 7 to 7.5 oz of beef.
