I usually buy a can from the store, but for the price I thought I would give this brand a try. Upon opening I was already disappointed. It was barely half full and mostly liquid. So I weighed it out of the can (net weight) and it was 9.4 oz. You figure some of that is liquid. I didn’t think to weigh just the meat until after I started cooking. Anyway, I’m being hopeful it tastes good; otherwise I’m making a trip to Sam’s. It won’t let me upload a picture.

Not bad

I was almost scared to try this, but had bought it for hurricane season last year and needed to use it up. It's actually quite good. I added taco seasoning and used it like shredded beef on low carb tortillas. I added all the fixings and it was great.

My review reflects only the condition of the cans. The product itself we like. Normally we buy canned goods in the store, but since we live 60 miles from the nearest Sams we thought we would buy online since we have free shipping. However, very disappointed in this and other canned goods. The box they came in was not damaged at all, but every single can we received was dented. This was our Roast Beef and Canned Tuna. This means that the people working to ship them packed them in the box this way knowing they were dented. They were packed with little room to move in the box. When I say dented some were absolutely crushed as if they were dropped on concrete. The seams are compromised so these will be going in the garbage. Offering shipping is great, but only as good as the people you have working to send the products.

The current price (at 7/2/25) is $15.48 for four 12-ounce cans. I opened one can and found the broth to weigh 5&5/8 oz while the beef weighs 6&3/8 oz which, when multiplied by 4 cans equals a total meat weight of 25.5oz. So that works out to $15.48÷25.5x16 = $9.71 per pound. Benefits: Do not have to keep in the freezer, don't have to do your own canning and the meat is not tough. Drawbacks: Meat is dry so you may want to mix it with mayo, mustard or something else and use it as a sandwich filling... for maybe two sandwiches.

Good product

Never got to try the content. As other buyers stated, the cans were severely smashed often with the seal edge pinched that I couldn't trust the seal anymore. The shipping box was undamaged, which means the cans were shipped that way. So I returned the cans. Very upsetting.

This is supposed to be Roast Beef. I have never had any roast beef this bad. it's more like the worst of the worst bits and pieces of beef that would normally be thrown away, packed in water. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. I tried to take the hard pieces out and put a little beef broth in to add some flavor, but nothing helped. We just couldn't eat it. It tasted awful. Unfortunately I bought 4 cans and I'll throw away the 2 cans I didn't open. I won't buy this again. I'd have to be starving to eat this.

This stuff looks disgusting. Looks more like scraps from a grinder. I was expecting to see sliced chunks of beef. Tastes a little like Spam. Lots of salt in it. Wife refused to even taste it. After you drain the liquid, you're left with about one serving. That is if you can get someone to actually eat it. I'm saving the three cans that are left and giving them to the next food drive. Yuk!

Bought the 4 pack and have encountered fat globs in the can. The can says 97% fat free. So 6 servings at 2 oz/ serving is 12 oz of product. .03 ( fat) x 12 oz is 0.36 oz of fat. Now my scale zeros out after can was placed on the scale and the 2 globs of pure fat weighs 1.6 oz, way more then the 0.36. Don't buy. Went to their site and no way to leave a comment, so I left you with this fat news.
