I keep a bunch of these in stock and rotate through them. Great for emergency food storage. Meat is tender and is a quick easy add to make a stew. Refrigeration is not needed and they keep for a long time.

Love the product but cans arrived dented with the top can lid damaged to the extent it was pushed open. I smelled an odor from the can and discovered the damaged lid.

Really good beef, very tender. Love the convenience of it. I heat in a saucepan and thicken with a little cornstarch in water, then serve over homemade bread and mashed potatoes. Just the right amount for two people.

This item tastes ok. It’s what you might expect from a can. The texture kind of reminds me of tuna in a can(not a criticism, just an observation.) My one criticism would be that it is VERY salty. Almost unpleasantly so.

What a nice surprise to find such amazing roast beef flavor in a can! We purchased these as part of our prepper pantry and opened one up to sample it and WOW, were we ever pleasantly surprised. Super flavor and the beef is nice and lean. This went from prepper pantry to pantry staple for us. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes roast beef.

GREAT PRODUCT....I used to be able to buy in store. Now only available on line. HORRIBLE PACKING by whom ever boxed it up to ship. ALL cans all dented up from being loose in box together and not properly packed. Basically put in box with some loose paper to separate which allowed cans to smash into each other during shipping process. WILL NOT BUY AGAIN ON-LINE.

This was a purchase as a part of a local food bank donation, so I can’t honestly rate the flavor or taste. i bought based on other reviews. The food bank is always looking for shelf-stable proteins (meat, tuna, chicken) for senior boxes, so this fit the bill perfectly.

For several years, I have remained a loyal customer of Butterfield Farms roast beef, and I consistently find it to be a truly fantastic and reliable product in my kitchen. Knowing that I always have a good stock of this roast beef on hand makes meal planning and preparing quick, easy lunches significantly simpler and more convenient, which is something I greatly value, especially given my busy and often hectic lifestyle.

Not what I was expecting. It is chunks and slivers of beef in au jus with solidified fat from cooking. The smell is a mix between potted meat and bologna. I tried it with egg noodles and with plain rice, just couldn't get past the smell and taste, which is definitely not a homey roast beef smell. Ended giving all 4 cans to my dogs over time.

I have been looking for a good canned beef product. The ones I used to get are now half broth, half fat, or funny tasting. This one is 75-80% meat and tastes good too. I mix half a can into Dinty Moore Beef Stew for a tasty and filling meal. DMBS now has pellets that taste more like a meat substitute, so this MEAT goes well with those still good vegetables. Will be buying another 4-pack this month. Will also be good to keep on hand in hurricane season.
