was a good flavor of beef but not enough marbeling or fat was left on the meat, so when it was bbq'd it ended up very dry.

Incredible value and taste was not what I was expecting. Typically when I have bought bulk meat products in the past they find ways to either skimp on taste or charge extra for junk. I’ve purchased beautiful looking “trimmed” tri-tip steaks in the past only to open the package and find a 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick layer of fat. Not only is that a lie and a dishonest practice, it is stealing from the consumer who is trusting these stores. I was completely surprised at how amazing the quality was on this particular item. It tasted amazing and it was trimmed perfectly. It is good knowing that there are still company’s that have integrity. Shout out to the butchers at the Sam’s Club! They know what they’re doing!
