I went and bought a can after the company live demoed the product at the Disaster USA EXPO and am so convinced that this product will save lives and property I'm investing in buying cans of the stuff for all my family member's homes and cars!

It put the fire out, but took the whole cab. I think this would work for a small stove fire, but not much else.

Having been trained to use a fire extinguisher I know that in many situations simply having a fire extinguisher isn't enough. They're heavy, they take two hands, and if not used in the proper way, totally ineffective at extinguishing a fire. Still better than nothing, however - once I witnessed a live demonstration of the FX500 I knew that should be replacing the common fire extinguisher. Simple to use, and cools the ignition source preventing reignition. I ordered three and they're now in my home. God forbid we ever need it, I'm confident anyone in the house could prevent a disaster.
