This is the main reason my family and I joined sam club, so that we could buy this freezer before the second lockdown happened I have a family of 2 and this is the perfect size for us I have saved so many frozen food and plenty of space I even have a mini bucket in there! Stays cold well and worth the price

I've only had it for a couple of weeks but so far so good. It came a day earlier than expected and unlike others, delivered without any dents or dings. It is slightly loud but we have ours in the basement so it doesn't really matter. I'll update if anything changes but so far we are pleased with the purchase.

1 STAR IS TOO MUCH! We bought this freezer to hold foid for church fundraising events & the feeding needy at the mission . No warning that it was not working well and we used it 3 times a week. Just went out today to get a ham and boneless chicken and everything was hot & Ruined ! Stacks of frozen hamburger pattys, bacon, sausages, smoked prized pork from the fair butchers wrapped!!!!!$$$$$!!!! Blocks of cheeses ect... IT WAS ONLY 1 1/2 YEARS OLD AND KEPT IN A COOLED GARAGE. DO NOT BUY! IT DEFEATED THE WHOLE PURPOSE! WE ARE NOT OUT OF A FREEZER WE ARE OUT $$$ MIN.$500 OF FOOD!! COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!!

we have a galley kitchen and therefore had to get a small fridge. our family is just 2 working adults, so we needed more space for frozen/ready made meals. this is perfect size for us. (i currently have 2 chuck roasts, 2 half hams, 2 qts of soup, 3 boxes of garlic bread,3 frozen pizzas, sam's club size hotdog and hamburger packs. 10 lbs of ground beef and 4 or 5 boxes of quick snacks) the machine runs very quiet, and light enough to move yourself, even with product in it. its been a great purchase for us!.

The freezer itself seems to work well. Reached temperature within a couple hours and very quiet. It had a big dent on the side, and another little one that I just saw while posting these photos, as well as a back corner that's dented. Not surprising at all since the packaging itself was very minimal in terms of foam inserts. There was no padding on the side with the big dent, only flimsy vertical corner foam strips that were broken in pieces. Totally inadequate for a product of this size and weight. Waited on the phone for an hour to talk to Sam's Club support, understandable given the shelter in place due to the virus, and Gladys was very understanding and pleasant. They said there's no more stock so I can either return for a refund within 60 days or keep it. We need this to store milk for our baby so have no choice. A bit worried about long term reliability as I can't tell if anything is damaged internally beyond just physical appearance. Glad to have one at all during these crazy times I guess... and the price is very reasonable so I would likely order again due to satisfaction with Sam's Club support and return policy. To the manufacturer Thomson/Curtis International, if you're listening: Beef up your packaging! Just judging by how many others have received a dented unit here, any incremental cost in material would surely be far exceeded by the ROI on customer satisfaction and your company's brand reputation and quality.
