tasty meatballs

Great flavor and texture, although a bit misleading. The item description says 100% beef. The ingredients say 98% beef AND soy protein. Of that 98%, what percentage is beef and what percentage is soy protein?

Thank you for reaching out regarding this product. Unfortunately, we do not disclose any ingredient percentages. The meatballs are defined as all beef as they are made with no other animal proteins in the formula.

Delicious!

I got these for a cocktail party with family and cooked them in sauce, served with toothpicks. They were so good. I had leftovers that I ate with sauce. Definitely will buy these again.

Disappointed

I love that these are now gluten-free but wish they were soy-free too. I know it’s probably a cost issue but for some reason meatballs aren’t easy to find without the major allergens.

Meatballs contain wheat... It is not Gluten-free.

Rating this as one star given that the Sam's Club web-site makes a claim that this item is gluten-free while the ingredient warning on the package states that this product "contains wheat"... I returned the item.

gluten free and great value!

My toddler loves these which he doesn’t love anything and my mom can eat them which she has to have gluten free so I love that we can buy these in bulk. Please never stop selling them!!! I always bake them and then add them to the sauce. I find they taste better this way

Sage an Italian spice?

This was a different make than I've had before but I had a party the next day and I hadn't been able to find a familiar brand at the grocery store. This ", Italian style" was very heavy with sage. I heated them without sauce, tasted it and the added marinara for an hour to heat through. Wasn't horrendous but not the best.

TOO MUCH BONE

This is my 2nd time trying these. Love the taste but I didnt realize these were bone in. Out of 10 meatballs so far ive found 4 bone shards. Very sharp and hard enough to break a tooth. 1st bag had a few but this bag seems to have a lot. Will not purchase again.

Thank you for your recent purchase of our Member's Mark Italian Style Meatballs. Your feedback is very important to us. We apologize that you experienced this issue with our meatballs. Real meat products are inherent to the possibility of bone. We purchase only deboned meat from certified meat suppliers. On occasion, a bone fragment will get by during the de-boning process. The actual bone fragmenting occurs at the raw meat processing plants during the separation of the various cuts of meat and not at our facility. We will continue to evaluate the latest technology that may be employed to eliminate bones in our meatballs. Our Operations and Quality Assurance associates will monitor this issue closely with our Production associates

Too spicy

These meatballs could be so good. They have a great texture and they are all beef. However, they are way too spicy. I would not purchase again as some people like to add their own seasonings and sauces to suit their tastes. You can’t mask the spicy taste that makes this not a very good meatball to me.

PACKED WITH FATTY FILLERS

THE MEATBALLS TASTED GOOD BUT AFTER ONE SERVING ABOUT 5 MEATBALLS, I BECAME CONSTIPATED. THE THIRD DAY I HAD MODERATE STOMACH CRAMPS. I RETURNED THIS ITEM. I READ THE INGREDIENTS AND NOW KNOW WHY I BECAME ILL. THE SHEEPS MILK, SOY FLOUR CONTENT,THERE IS A LOT OF OIL IN THEM. I RECOMMEND FRYING OR BOILING FIRST TO RELEASE THE FATTY OILS.

Glad the GF is back

Thank you for bringing back the Gluten Free version of these e-mails. The non-GF ones were "okay", but our family much prefers the recipe used in the GF ones AND since I must be GF it makes them an easier meal choice because I don't have to search for a GF alternative and fix a seperate pan of meatballs for myself.
