Brightens up dull lighting areas

Great Price! Great Purchase! I do a lot of projects in my garage and prior to these lights, sometimes it was hard to see, unless door was open at for sunlight. But that that’s too hot sometimes. I purchased these and I’m very pleased with how well lit the garage space is now. I’m looking to get another set for our basement storage area. So glad I tried these!

Quite bright, but a better design would have been to distribute some of the lumens downward from the center "medallion" instead of strictly from arms. Good value though and light panels have an opaque cover/filter to lessen bulb intensity should you make brief eye contact.

Not worth it.

One made a loud popping noise and stopped working less than two weeks after putting it up in our garage. Now every bulb we put in that socket either flickers or doesn’t come on at all. We returned them and bought something else and are scheduling an electrician to come out and see if he can fix it. I will say that for the two weeks it worked, the garage was well lit, and I was about to order more so I could put them in a storage room.

Only lasted 5 months

I purchased this earlier this year and it did work well for a couple of months. Unfortunately it started flickering and finally stopped working. This was even in a climate controlled garage so it was never exposed to extreme temps or water.

Avoid Westinghouse

Westinghouse does not honor the 5 year warranty on this bulb. My died within 6 months and despite filing a warranty claim, I never received a replacement. Customer service went dark soon after I filed my claim.
