I bought a King Size M ADAPT MEDIUM HYBIRD SET, It was delivered on 2-24-19. I've always wanted a Tempur- Pedic Mattress. Even though there quite Expensive, I know it's worth it. But it does take some getting used to, because it's totally different from my old Mattress that I hade for 11 years. How ever it is very Comfortable, and I LOVE, The coolness, as I do SUFFER from HOT FLASHES & NIGHT SWEATS. I wake up with less back pain and body aches. But for some reason I am experiencing neck pain's, I'm not sure if it's the mattress being so soft, or my pillow not being supportive enough. So that's why I gave it 4 stars. I do LOVE THIS MATTRESS SET!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Twelve years ago we spent a week at a lake house and got to try out a Tempur-Pedic mattress. We were sold after that week. Never had I slept so well, and my husband's back was happy too. It took us a few years to finally purchase our own, but I cannot imagine ever changing to another product. We bought a queen in 2015 and a king in 2019. Both are the same type, the original formula. Love them. For some reason I prefer the queen mattress, but don't sleep on it because my husband prefers the king. Both are wonderful. For the years we used the queen, I would climb into bed and say to my husband, "Aren't you glad we finally got this." Not exaggerating. It felt so good at the end of the day climbing into it. Still like the king mattress very much but it does not feel quite the same to me. It may be the frame. The queen has the flat foundation on a standard metal frame. The King has a power base so we cannot have a flat foundation under it, so that may be the difference. I can recommend both mattresses though. Love the traditional Adapt. It feels very firm at first but completely adapts to my body as I move.

We purchased our mattress in December of 2016 and I was excited to try it out. I was hoping that the memory foam would help with my shoulders, low back, etc. My husband didn't have any issues. When we went to the store to check the mattresses out, the salesman made a big deal about us laying down on the mattresses so we could select the one that best fit our needs. Well the Medium firm mattress felt wonderful. And we laid on it for quite a while. We also tried the Soft one and it was very soft and didn't seem to have any support. So after discussing with the salesman, he said that it would probably take 60 days to break in the mattress so that it would be like the one we tried in the store. And if we were not happy with it, we could return it for a different one. Within 30 days, both my husband and I could hardly walk when we got up in the morning. The mattress was so hard. I put a foam pad on it and that helped a little. So we went back to the store to see if we could get a different one. They said we should give it more time and that we should not have added the foam - well they weren't sleeping on the darned thing. They also said we could trade it in for the Soft mattress but it would cost more money. I was really frustrated. The thing already cost us an arm and a leg, I felt we had already paid too much and didn't want to pay more money only to find out the soft one wouldn't work either. They also said that the reason the medium mattress felt so good at the store was because so many people had laid on it, trying it out, so it was broken in really good. So we went home disappointed and feeling like we were ripped off and determined to make the mattress work for us so we didn't have to pay more money to the store. After 90 days, the mattress was still as hard as it had been day 1. So we put the foam pad back on it. It has now been over 2 years and it is still as hard as it was on day 1. And yes, the foam pad is still on there. With the foam pad, we aren't limping out of bed. I firmly believe we were delivered the hard mattress. Lessons learned - (1) it does not help to try out mattress in the store, as they are not what you will receive; (2) don't believe the salesman when he says you can bring it back, there will be a catch; (3) buy a cheaper mattress so you can afford to get another one when the new one doesn't work out. I'm writing this at 1:30 am because I can't sleep, my shoulders are aching from laying on the mattress.

Well, first, we have not had the mattress and base very long, and it is possible that any review would differ over a longer run. Having said this, it appears that my wife and I (on a King long twin) bed, sleep more soundly. My wife has had serious back surgery, over the years, and it also seems that her constant pain is somewhat reduced using this mattress. I work out and push myself. I find that various positions of the base allow for more comfort dealing with exercised- pushed muscles. Our previous mattress was a very good and expensive latex and while the Temper-Pedic allows for a better sleep, I do miss an edging, as it provided a more substantial mounting into bed, especially since my wife and I are on the shorter size. I have figured it out, that is, getting into bed, but if one uses, say, bamboo sheets or other slippery ones, there is always the fear of sliding back to the floor if the mount is not successful. Thankfully, this has not happened, and the base is as low as it goes.

Not sure it was the right decision to purchase this mattress. The sales person did a great job selling his product. For example, "Once you sleep on a Tempurpedic, you won't sleep well on a hotel mattress." I don't find that to be true. Considering the price paid, I had high expectations. I don't think the mattress is making a significant difference in my sleep. I don't find it to be any better, or worse, than my previous, less-expensive mattress. I believe I could have spent less and gotten a different brand product that would have been just as good.

My wife and I both love the spring support coupled with the pressure relief and movement dampening properties of the Tempur material. We have both gotten a higher quality of sleep since we've had this mattress. It's so wonderful to not feel every little movement and wake up without lower back pain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded our original Tempur-pedic to a split king with adjustable base. The original mattress was firm and molded to form as we slept. This is a little soft. Still better than a traditional Mattress.

My fiancé and I bought this bed and it is the best investment ever. She sleeps on her back and she has slept amazing since the product . She snores every night but won't admit it . Best sleep ever and even better with the adjustable base . We could literally stay in bed all day.

We have purchased several mattresses over the last 13 years trying to find the best one for us. We have tried the popular air adjustable bed, ones with hybrid latex, ones with memory foam and even the bed with water calibrators. I wish we found Tempurpedic first. We have slept so good every night since night 1. There was no "break-in" period. We actually GET SLEEP now. No tossing and turning. No aches and pains. Just sound healthy sleep.
